"Is she okay?"

"She is more than okay April," William opened the front door only to see his mother on the floor wearing shorts and a crop top. "She is a crazy mum. Ever heard of a crazy mum?"

"Not really," I answered quietly as I kept my eyes on his mother.

"Well now you have," William walked to his mother before squatting down next to her and holding her hand out to me.

"April I want you to meet my mum. Mum I want you to meet April."

His mother let out a loud snore making me and William burst out in laughter. He stood up to his feet before attempting to pull her up but she wasn't stable.

"She is drunk right?" I asked as William held tightly onto her before taking her into the living room.

"Yes. But don't worry she isn't always like this." Williams eyes settled on the big red couch so I removed the books from it before he roughly placed her on the couch.

His mother immediately curled up in the sofa and her sores were the only sounds heard in the room. I looked at William to see him smiling at his unconscious mother.

"She isn't always like this April," he whispered as he took of his jacket and placed it on his mum.

"I believe you," I said before giving him a small smile. William reached for my hand and started to pull me out of the living room.

"Let's go upstairs." He pulled me out of the living room and up the stairs making me feel uncomfortable. Once inside his room he let go of my hand and walked towards another door in his room.

He pushed the door open before gesturing for me to follow him. Outside was a balcony with chairs and tables. I stood by a table while William leaned on the balcony railings as he looked ahead.

"I like it," I said quietly as I looked at the tables and chairs. "Do you eat here sometimes?"

"Yes I do. Come here April." I walked over to William and stood next to him as we watched people walk by.

William turned to me and smiled.

"I just visualised myself falling of the balcony. It felt so real."

I frowned at this but kept my concentration on the houses opposite. It looked very different compared to the houses opposite my house.

"Why would you visualise that?" I asked.

"I don't know," William said with a small laugh.

I walked away from the railings before taking sitting down on the floor. William looked back at me before turning to look ahead. I took my phone out of my pocket before going on my Snapchat.

David_123 added you!

Without thinking I added this person back and watched my phone to see if the person sends me a message.

Nothing.

"April?"

"Yes," I answered before looking up.

William gestured for me to go to him so I stood up and walked over to him. He pointed at a boy and girl who were making out near a tree. I looked at him while I tried to give him a frown but I couldn't help but smile.

"Want to make a bet?" William asked with a smirk.

"On what?" I asked.

"That they start doing the dirty," I slowly nodded.

"I don't think they are going to do anything," I said with a smile.

"I believe they would. Let's bet a pound!" We watched them quietly like the weirdos we are.

The boy and girl pulled apart before the boy slid his hand down her jeans.
I couldn't help but giggle at this and I looked at William to see him holding in his laugh.

The girl pulled away from the boy before saying something to him. The boy grabbed her arm and pulled her close to him. He was saying something to her but she pushed him away and ran off.

I turned to William with my hand outstretched.

"A pound please!" He let out a groan before giving me the pound. I smiled as I put it in my pocket. We both watched the boy as he stood there with a hand pulling at his hair in frustration.

He suddenly looked up at me and William before frowning.

"Hey!" He shouted and we both ducked down before rushing inside.

"In Nathan Room!"

I ran after William to Nathans room. William closed the door behind us before leaning on it while I sat myself down on Nathans bed.

"That was close," I said quietly then suddenly there was a loud knock on the front door.

Me and William looked at each other in slight fear.

More knocks on the door came.

"What!" A female voice shouted. I looked at William in confusion.

"Oh shoot! My mum opened the door." William opened the bedroom door slightly and tried to listen to the conversation.

"I never watched you do anything!" I snorted when I heard his mother shout this. William didn't look at me but by the shaky movement of his shoulders I could tell that he was laughing too.

"Should we go and help her?" I asked and William shook his head. "My mum is strong. She can handle the skinny boy out there and-"

William's phone vibrated so he took it out of his pocket and looked at it.

"We need to go!"

"How come?" I asked as dread started to fill me.

"It's Nathan," he said as he looked at me. "Your uncle is around."
