Williams POV

"Right so do you all know what you are supposed to be doing?" I asked the others.

They all nodded except Samantha. I had called my brother, his friends, my friends and Samantha because we needed to get April's uncle out of the house.

Why?

I had no idea but by the look of him I know he is difficult. So it wouldn't be easy.

"Samantha? Do you understand what you have to do?"

She pouted before walking slowly towards me. She placed her hands on my shoulders making me look at her.

"But why can't I flirt with you?" I let out a loud groan as my friends look the both of us with a smirk.

"You wouldn't have to do it unless worst comes to worst. Remember we need distractions."

Samantha gave me a disgusted look causing me to laugh a bit. "I don't want to entertain an elderly man!"

"He isn't elderly. Probably in his fourties," Alex said as he looked at the house. "Can we do this now so I can go party at Adam's.  I can't miss it."

"The party ends tomorrow morning. We have enough time," Samantha said surprising me.

"Thank you for understanding," I said and she winked at me.

"You owe me a lot more than a thank you Mr!"

"Right let's start," My brother said as he pulled out a green book from his bag. I was instantly reminded about April leaving it in my house.

Yes, I read it. I don't know why the book exist but I needed to read over it again.

Nathan couldn't give it back. I grabbed him by the shoulder before pulling him back.

"What are you doing? We are not returning the book." Nathan wiggled out of my grip.

"I know what I am doing you have to trust me Will."

"Nope. Unfortunately I cannot," I pulled the book out of his grip before handing it to Alex.

"In fact seeing as this is my crazy idea let me go first." The others hid behind a bush while I walked up the pathway to April's house. I knocked on the door and waited for a response.

Silence.

I knocked three times and there was still nothing. Just as I was about to knock again the door opened and out walked her uncle.

He looked awful.

He was wearing a vest and shorts in this weather making him look odd. He had big bags under his eyes and seemed like he wasn't stable on his feet.

Probably drunk.

I could see in his eyes that he had instantly recognised me from before. When April ran off I followed her back to make sure she was okay and that is when me and her uncle made eye contact.

Well there goes my plan on pretending that I am a new neighbour.

"Umm hello sir I came around to speak to April about the school project we are working on," I explained and he held onto the door tightly before giving me a dirty look.

"My sweet darling April is sleeping now. I think you should leave," he tried to close the door but I put my foot out in front to stop him.

"April could fail," I suddenly said feeling stupid. "She could fail her health and social care course if she doesn't speak with me now."

"Oh yh and who are you?" He asked as he folded his arms looking angry.

"He is Aprils project partner but he is  my boyfriend. I am the headteachers daughter," Samantha answered with her flirtatious smile. I rolled my eyes at her and faked anger.

"Do you really have to flirt with everyone?" I asked angrily. Her eyes widened but I knew she knew I was acting.

She let out a laugh before looking at April's uncle.

"I wasnt flirting!" Samantha looked at April's uncle who was smirking. "Was I flirting with you sir?"

"Hell yes! You were!"

I looked at her before turning to look at April's uncle. "Why don't you two have each other!"

"What?!?"

"Oh I have no problem with that at all," April's uncle said as he held onto Samantha's arm.

I stormed of and rushed behind the bush to see my friends holding a big bucket of eggs and waters bombs.

"Is it our que to go now?" One of my friends chase asked and I shook my head.

"We might not need to go so far with this. Samantha might convince him to let April out," I said with excitement. I looked at Nathans friends pouring red paint in a bucket.

Then it hit me. "Where is Nathan?" I asked with a frown.

Daniella froze on the spot. "He was just with me. He even gave me this," she held out the green note book and I grabbed it to see that it was full of empty pages.

There was no words.

"Alex? Why is this book empty?" He turned to face me and in his hand was the green book.

"The question you should be asking is that why is there two green books?"

Samantha stormed towards us before wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. I could see that she had tears in her eyes.

"Oh... Samantha I-"

"-forget it!" She shouted. "He isn't letting her go okay."

She turned to walk away before stopping and looking back at us. "If she isn't in school tomorrow we can report the bastard but until then goodnight."

I watched the back of her until she disappeared.

Daniella grabbed my hand making me look down at her. "Nathan has a plan. I feel like we might need more eggs!"

If it means we can save April then that's fine.
