The ending

My uncle was admitted to stay in hospital as he started to deteriorate.

When William found out I went back to see him, he wasn't too happy but when I told him that he is dying  William understood.

It became part of our routine to go to school and straight after we would visit my uncle. In the evening we would usually meet up with Samantha and Lewis by the cross road river.

Lewis always brought drinks with him.

By drinks I mean bubble tea.

I don't actually remember why we started the whole drinking of bubble tea in the evening thing, but it became our tradition.

As we sat by the lake in the darkness of the evening I felt a hand grab onto my own and soon realised it was William.

I still wasn't sure what we were but I didn't want to rush anything.

William had done a lot for me and it would make a lot of sense to just jump into his lap right now, so we can claim each other but I knew we had a lot of time to think before rushing.

I took a sip of my tea from my straw before placing my drink down.

I got up and walked closer to the river with the locket in my hand. I opened it and stared at the picture inside.

Me, Charmaine, Crystal, Lisa and Abbey were in our short dresses in a party. We looked so happy.

Now look at us.

I closed the locket firmly before walking closer to the river.

"Bye fake friends."

I threw the locket and watched as it fell into the river.

I could feel a figure behind me and looked back to see William. He wrapped his arms around me before kissing my head.

"It's over April."

I smiled and allowed him to hold me.

So urrh you know how I said I would wait instead of rushing things with William...well I changed my mind.

I turned around and threw my arms around his neck before kissing him on the lips. He pulled me closer and it was then that I knew we were official.

By the complaints and shouts coming from Samantha and Lewis I knew we claimed each other in the right way.

Lool.
