I ended up staying the night at my house before taking my uncle's credit card and leaving for school in the morning.

No money means no drink.

I went to William's house and found him sitting at the doorstep. He watched me carefully as I walked past him and went straight to the bathroom.

I quickly got ready for school before grabbing my bag and going back out to see William. I sat next to him before resting my head on his shoulder.

"Thank you for everything," William still had cuts and bruises on his face which made me feel guilty.

He did it for me.

We sat like this for a while before he got up and pulled me with him.

"Let's go," we both walked to school in silence.

Once inside I noticed that no one was around the corridor.

"Where is everyone?" William asked and I shrugged my shoulder as we continued walking.

I heard hurried footsteps and looked back to see an excited Adam.

"There is beef with your friends Real."

"What?" I asked with genuine shock.

"I tried to stop them but they are crazy!"

"What happened?" I asked feeling very confused.

"Apparently someone gave Abbey's parents a video of her and a older man. Pictures of a barely clothed Charmaine was posted to her own door. Crystal was giving a fake job opportunity were she was made to advertise low calorie snacks. It turns out that she has been gaining weight and the snacks are high in calories. Her face was even on the advert. She looked very stupid."

"So why are they fighting," William asked as I tried to keep a confused expression as I wasn't confused anymore.

"They blame Lisa!" There was a loud bang and screams followed it so we quickly just rushed over to the classroom they were fighting in.

Lisa was fighting Abbey on the floor. Charmaine and Crystal were shouting at each other and were too close for comfort.

Everyone was chanting the word beef, over and over again.

I looked at William and he gave a quick smile before I heard familar screaming.

It was Mrs Viola.

William grabbed my arm but Mrs Viola called me out.

"April wait here," William turned to face Mrs Viola. "You can wait too William."

We both looked at each other in confusion as Mrs Viola went and pulled Abbey and Lisa apart. Some seniors came and helped to keep them away as well as keep Charmaine and Crystal apart.

"All in my office now!" Mrs Viola instructed so me and William rushed of quickly and took our seats in the office as the others came in.

Me and Lisa made eye contact and she gave me a confused look.

Your not going to be confused for long Lisa.

Once we were all seated Mrs Viola went to the front and leaned on her desk.

"Right so William and April. You two are probably wondering why you are in here," me and William nodded eventhough we had an idea why.

"You are in here because there is obviously a huge problem between you April and the girls here. Am I right?"

"Maybe," I mumbled as I kept my eyes on my lap.

"So April explain to me what happened? Start from the beginning" Mrs Viola asked as she took her seat in front of us all.

"Well it all started when a fake account was made and it added me. When I realised that the weirdos behind it were my friends I decided to get revenge."

"So it was you?" Abbey asked angrily. I nodded before allowing myself to smile.

"All me. And you all deserve it."

Abbey was about to say something but Mrs Viola interrupted.

"What was the purpose of the fake account?"

"It was just a bit of fun!" Lisa explained as she flipped her hair back.

"Then why pretend to be David?" William asked with a frown.

"I don't know," Lisa said defensively.

"Do you see why doing this is wrong girls?" Mrs Viola asked but Crystal wasn't too happy.

"No, do you see why she is wrong? I could have gained some serious weight and now my face is on a dumb advert!"

"This all happened because you angered your friend. She wasn't an enemy and yet you treated her like one."

"Whatever! She is now an enemy!" The girls got up and followed Lisa.

They ignored Mrs Viola as she tried to call them back.

"Right William I think it's best for you to take a step outside for a bit."

William nodded before he got up and left the room.

Once William was gone Mrs Viola continued talking to me.

"April I saw you yesterday standing by the trash," I cringed as I remembered why I was there.

To throw away my uncle's bottles.

"And you stood there for a while. Is everything okay?"

"Yes. It is okay," I said but I sounded unsure.

Mrs Viola came and sat were William was was a few minutes ago.

"What your friends did wasn't okay. I feel like they did this as a mockery to try and get you to talk about certain things which they may have leaked. Sometimes you don't need friends like that in your life. These girls are the type of friends who want you to embarrass yourself so that they can laugh. They are the type that like it when you are down because it's their entertainment. With people like that we abandon them."

And I did.

I pretty much kept to myself and stayed in the library after that. Occasionally William would join me but I liked being alone.

I started to realise that without them in my life I felt much better and happier.

I guess it was because I was never a part of them.
