Let's talk then. I have missed hearing from you

I slowly looked up from my phone at the two idiots arguing.

"William come here now!" He must have heard the urgency in my voice because he immediately rushed over to me and took my phone out of my grasp.

I looked up at William to see him laughing.

"What do I say?" I asked helplessly.

"Say what any normal person would say," William said as if it was easy.

"Tell me what to say. I don't want to mess up."

William stared at my phone for a while. "Tell him that you miss hearing from him too and you want to meet him tonight."

My eyes widened and I turned to look at him. "Why?"

"I know what I am doing April," William said as he watched me slowly type up the message.

I stopped and turned to face him again. "Are you sure? I mean this isn't actually David."

"I know. You said you trust me April."

"I do."

"Then trust me," we both looked each other in the eye as he slowly pulled my phone out of my hands.

I watched him type up the rest of the message before sending it.

"Done," he whispered as he handed me my phone.

"Now what happens?"

"We wait for a response," William said.

"No you come out and finish what you started!" The boy by the front door shouts.

"Wait he is still here?" I asked while giggling.

The boy walks into the living room before moving to stand right in front of us.

"I want an apology and I want it now!"

"An apology for what?" William asked with a smirk on his face.

"For watching me and my girlfriend get intimate. How many times do I-"

"-AAHHHH WOOOHOO!"

We all looked at each other before hearing a big bang coming from upstairs. I looked at William to see a worried look on his face.

"Oh damm! My mum is upstairs!"

We all rushed up including the angry boy. William led us to her room and to our suspicion she was laying on her back on the ground.

A few empty bottles of whisky lay by her side and I couldn't help but wonder.

Not long ago his mum was in the living room and now she is out cold in her room.

Why does she do this?

William carried her bridal style and placed her on the bed before covering her with a quilt.

Me and the angry boy helped pick up the empty whisky bottle.

"So she is a alcoholic?" The boy asked and I shook my head as William gave him a stone cold look.

"That is none of your business."

"Okay. Calm down. I am not going to tease you on it. Even I know my boundaries. It's just-"

"-just what?"

"Why does she drink?" The boy asked making me look at William straight away.

Even I wanted to know this but I didn't want William to be mad.

"Maybe you should back of a bit," I suggested to the boy but he rolled his eyes and continued to interrogate William.

"I mean as annoying as you are you don't seem like a drain on your mother. Her house and life seems pretty decent. Don't depressed people drink?"

I decided to rush to Williams aid. "Not really. Some people drink because they like it. They like the experience," the boy was about to ask more questions and make more stupid points when a bottle lid dropping to the ground sounded loudly.

I pulled my phone out of my pocket to see a message from David.

Anything for you ;) Do you want to meet outside the cineworld in Tripass square? We can meet at 5pm

I replied with a quick yes before handing my phone to William. He read the messages before letting out a sign of frustration.

"What the bloody hell April??"

"I don't understand."

"Do you know where Tripass Square is?"

"No that's what I wanted you to tell me."

"It's an 1 hour and 30 minutes away," answered the angry boy causing me to frown. "My dad once drove me there. It was long but the area is nice."

"So how are we going to get there?" I asked.

"I can drive," the boy offered and William snorted.

"Are you sure? The only thing you know how to drive is your hand into girls pants."

"Let that go!"

"Guys!" The two boys turned to look at me and so I continued. "There is no time for arguing okay."

"I agree! It's just I can drive," the boy said again.

"Do you use your parents car?"

"Yes but they don't mind."

"Okay then I guess you can drive us. Right William?"

"Right," he said through gritted teeth.

"Great. We shall see you around 3pm so we aren't late," I said to the boy.

"I guess."

"Bye hobit!" William said as he rushed the boy down the stairs and out the front door.

"Bye goat!"

Once the boy is out William turns to me with a frown.

"Tripass Square? Really?"

I didn't reply. I didn't have to. We both knew that this evening is going to be memorable.
