The rest of the school day was went by smoothly. When making my way to the canteen at lunchtime I couldn't help but feel scared that I might bump into Mrs Viola and get the detention I kind of deserve.
There is no way that you can pour water on a teacher and get away with it.
Even if it was an accident.
I rushed over to the table that my friends were at and saw that they were with some boys.
I took a seat next to Crystal. "Hey April," Crystal said as she gave me a brief hug. She pulled away and took a chip from her plate before holding it in front of me.
"How much calories do you think this chip has?" Crystal asked making me frown at her question.
"Uhh I have no idea..."
"It's just I have eaten five chips and I am scared that I-"
"-oh come on! It's just chips. You aren't even having it with any sauce so why are you worrying?"
I asked with slight concern because I didn't like the fact that Crystal couldn't see that she is slim and has nothing to worry about.
"Alissa is right," said the blonde boy sitting in front of Crystal.
His name is Alex. I wish I didn't know his name.
"My name is April," I said slightly annoyed that I knew his name and he didn't know my.
"Really? I swear you call her Alissa. Don't you Crystal?" Crystals eyes widened as she shakes her head looking slightly shocked.
"I have no idea what you are on about Alex."
"But you always say-"
"-Guys! Don't be selfish let's all talk together!" Lisa said while flicking her hair back. Her boyfriend Adam kept licking his lips as he starred at the side of Lisa's head.
I wouldn't be surprised if he started drooling. I couldn't help but laugh at this causing everyone on the table to look at me. Lisa leaned forward a bit while giving me eye contact.
"What is funny?"
"I just remembered something from before," I explained quickly because she couldn't know that I was laughing at her boyfriend.
"Was it from detention?" She asked with her head slightly tilted to the side.
Even Lisa thinks I had a detention. I guess I am right. I do deserve one.
"Yes," I quickly answered. I looked up at the others to see that they were waiting for me to continue my 'funny' story and I didn't have any.
I guess it's time to make one up.
"Well I just thought that Mrs Viola looked like a bird especially as she had to wipe her face and she didn't even reapply her makeup back on. Me wetting her didn't help her look at all."
Everyone on the table started laughing which made me smile a bit but I couldn't help but feel bad.
I didn't think she looked like a bird but I guess that was the issue with being friends with these kind of people.
You have to impress them.
"Oh Alistair your so funny," Adam said as he tried to contain his laughter.
"Her name is-"
"-yes I get it! Her name is April. But she needs a nickname," Adam explained which took me by surprise.
That was one thing I noticed with some of these people. They didn't like my name and therefore chose not to remember it.
Or remembered but chose not to say it right.
"What should we call her?" Charmaine asked as she sat up properly.
"Guys I am here you know," I said because I wanted to be involved in the making of my nickname but I should have known best.
These people don't listen to interruptions unless it's being made by Lisa.
"Let's call her Real," Abbey said which caused everyone on the table to make sounds of approval.
"Why Real?" Lisa asked Abbey.
"Because her name is April. So just take the Ril in her name and turn it to Real."
"Good one," Adam said as he smirked at me. "Real good."
"That's good enough!" Lisa said as she clapped her hands together making the canteen go silent for a bit. She suddenly looked up at me and smiled.
"So do you really think Mrs Viola looks like a bird when she is wet?"
"100%," I said making Alex spit out his food because of his laughter.
"And I thought she might try and pull of a sexy wet look." Charmaine said as she giggled.
"I know for a fact that I would be able to pull a wet sexy look," Lisa said as she winked at Adam which made him kiss Lisa's neck.
Soon they were both making out and chocking one another with their tongues.
This was making the sweets I secretly ate in class to bubble up inside of me.
I had to keep my eyes down so I don't see anymore or I might end up vomiting and embarrassing myself.I kept my gaze down but couldn't help but notice two tall boys walking by. I looked up at them and realised that one of them was William. When his eyes landed on me he smiled and I returned it before looking down again.
Lisa and Adam better finish up their make up session!

Once school ended I rushed home only to realise that I rushed for nothing because no one was home.
I sat myself down on the doorstep waiting for my uncle to get home. I hate it when he does this and I hate my self for not making a copy of the home keys.A few years back it wasn't so bad. My uncle was always home because he wasn't working and still isn't. Its just now he decides to go out when he knows I am coming back from school.
Lovely isn't it.
I quickly send my uncle a text letting him know about my whereabouts eventhough I know he wouldn't care. I lean against my front door as I watch people walk by.
My phone suddenly vibrates making me rethink my thoughts.
Maybe he does care.
Nope it's a Snapchat notification.
I click on it to see that someone has added me.
David_123 added you!
Who the hell is David?
"April?" I look up to see William with a confuse look on his face.
But I should be confused not him.
How did he get all the way to my house?
