I allowed Nathan to lead me out of my hell hole. Once outside I couldn't help but let the feeling of dread over take me. I wasn't sure if I wanted William to see me like this but there was no where to go and nothing else I could do.

As we got to the front of my house I could hear my uncle's shouting. I looked back to see Alex and Chase throwing water bombs at my uncle while Daniella and other kids threw eggs at the house.

My uncle is going to loose his mind.

An egg hit my uncle in the chest causing laughter to erupt from the children. I couldn't help but smile when I saw this.

My uncle was never defeated but today he is.

Nathan led me to the big bush outside my house and standing near it was William.

He was still in uniform and had a grey bumper jacket on. He held his arms out and I rushed into them allowing him to engulf me in a hug.

"You are safe," he whispered and I looked over his shoulder at Nathan who gave me a sad smile. He showed me the green note book he had given me earlier.

I was supposed to read it but never was able to. Nathan pushed the book into a black backpack before turning and running towards the others.

William pulled away before holding my face gently in his hands.

"I am so sorry."

"For what?" I asked quietly.

"For not realising how idiotic and violent your uncle is."

"It's not your fault-"

"-I should have been curious."

"-no!" I suddenly shouted surprising both myself and William. "It's not your fault so just stop. Please."

William nodded and was about to say something else when Alex ran to us out of breath.

"Everyone else is in the car! We turned the man into a wet egg which is creepy because it's impossible!"

"Eggs are wet though," William stated making Luke frown in confusion.

"What?"

"Eggs are wet. When it gets cracked the yoke comes out and that's wet so-"

"Who flipping cares! We need to get out of here before the man comes after us."

William grabbed my hand and we both made our way to the car before he opened the door and I got in.

He sat in beside me and closed the door behind himself. The car immediately moved once we got in making me feel relieved.

I looked through the window to see my uncle standing outside the front door. He was wiping his face on a cloth. The driver started driving in full speed not giving me a chance to see my uncle look up.

"So what happens now?" Alex asked and William looked at me before turning back to Alex.

"I guess you can go to the party..."

"What about you?" Alex asked.

"I am staying at home with April."

Alex nodded and the rest of the car journey was quiet. Once we got to Williams house he walked me inside and up the stairs to his bedroom. I sat on his bed and he pulled his drawer opened before getting out a first aid kid.

He took out some cotton balls and a bottle of what could be disinfectants for skin. He sat in front of me before pouring some disinfectant into a cotton ball.

"This is going to hurt a bit." He moved closer to me and I closed my eyes as I waited for the pain. He gently wiped the cuts on my face making me wince in pain.

"I am so sorry," he whispered gently as he covered the clean cuts with a plaster.

After he was done he rushed down stairs and came back with an ice pack.

"Place it on your injured eye." I did as he said before leaning against his headboard. William sat still next to me before looking at me.

I kept my concentration on my lap before he started talking. "You can stay here for a while April. Actually you have no choice you are going to stay here. No way am I letting you out of my sight."

"Thank you," I said quietly and he placed his hand over my free hand. We sat like this for a while before he started speaking.

"So about the fake account I think we need to take advantage of the person behind the account."

I looked at him while frowning.

"What do you mean?"

"We can talk to the person and play them at their own game," William said with an evil smirk.

"Which is?"

"You know it," William said as he gave me eye contact.

"Getting them to believe something which isn't true," I said slowly as he nodded.

"That's right," he got up from his bed before changing his bumper jacket to a big black puffy coat.

"Where are you going?" I asked quietly as I watched him zip his jacket up.

"To the party Alex is going to," he replied without looking at me.

"Why?"

He stopped wearing his jacket and turned to face me.

"I just have to do something but I promise I will be back soon," he walked closer to me and leaned down.

He was very close to me and I couldn't help but keep my eyes low.

"You can stay in my bed April. Nathan is going to be in the living room watching TV with his friends so if you need anything call him."

I nodded and he stood up properly before walking out of the bedroom. I put the ice pack on his table before laying down on Williams bed.

I pulled his sweet smelling quilt over myself before allowing sleep to engulf me.

His quilt smelt sweet.
