Reason for my little rant is because I do not want any comments revolving around a preach where people tell me that it's a woman and that I am all for women abuse, WHICH I AM MOST CERTAINLY NOT! This is a Mafia book so like it or not women will be hurt especially when they're snakes 😉 I am all for constructive criticism but if you're going to be a bitch then please prepare yourself because I'm the type of bitch that bites back 😘 This Author's note is not to upset anyone or to offend anyone because I love you all especially my regular readers that comments on each and every chapter, I just had to put it out there because I know how some people can jump to offence way to quick and seeing as a woman will be tortured in this chapter I just wanted to prevent the little headache beforehand, please understand where I'm coming from. Kiara's POV
I had just gotten out of the shower a few minutes ago and was busy getting dressed as I know the kids should be up any minute now because it's absolutely impossible for them to sleep late, which is why I hate it when Steph isn't here because he always lets me sleep in and then he deals with his kids so early in the damn morning, yeah you guessed it, I'm so not a morning person. I was just about to go and check on them when my phone startled me by ringing loudly in this quiet room causing me to jump, I don't know what the hell is wrong with me but ever since the shooting I have been a bit jumpy, getting startled by any little sound, pathetic I know but I can't help it and I also can't make myself tell Steph either because he would be worried for no reason, I just think it's because of the pregnancy hormones or some shit.
