"No, what I'm saying is that you should flirt back for once, instead of just saying "thank you" every time he compliments you."

While Ashley was lecturing me on how to flirt, I got a snapchat from Nolan. He was laying on his couch, the sunlight hitting his face so that his eyes looked more blue than ever. It said across it, "Would you wanna grab lunch with me around 1?"

I screamed and ran over to Ashley who was doing homework on my bed. Her eyes went wide and she also screamed. I looked at the clock to see that it was nearly 12.

A week had passed since we slept over at his apartment. We had talked all day everyday of this week.

I replied to Nolan saying that I would love to and he said he would pick me up in about an hour. He said we would just go to a cafe so I didn't dress too nicely. I put on some light wash jeans with rips, an oversized pink sweater, and my white vans. I threw my hair into a high ponytail and decided to go with no makeup. By the time I was ready, it was 12:45, Ashley was packing up her stuff to leave.

I did some final touch ups on my look before receiving a text from Nolan, saying he was here. I left my dorm, seeing his black Range Rover pulled up by the curb. I opened the door, surprising him a little.

"Hey, how're you doing?" He asked me, a small smile apparent on his lips.

"I'm great, how are you?"

"Pretty good, I'm going out with this awesome girl. Pretty excited," He said, a dark shade of red crept onto my face.

We made it to the cafe, he said he ate here last week with Travis and they were both impressed with the food.

I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with a side on tomato soup. Nolan ordered a steak sandwich.

"Have you had a Philly cheese steak since being here?" I asked him, taking a bite of my grilled cheese.

"I haven't gotten around to it actually," He winced.

"What? Are you kidding? Well, I know what we're doing for dinner tonight then!" I exclaimed, completely surprised that he's been here as long as he has and still hasn't had a Philly Cheese Steak.

"Are you asking me out on date, Fiona?" He said jokingly.

We both laughed and finished our food.

"I have an idea, say no if you don't want to, but I think this would be fun," Nolan said.

"Shoot," I responded.

"Wanna go ice skating? We could go to the River Rink downtown?" He asked.

My eyes lit up. I haven't skated since my senior year of high school. I played hockey but when college started up I had to quit my club team to focus on school.

"Oh my God, that would be so fun! I can show you up in skating!" I said, jumping a little.

He smiled seeing my reaction and we headed towards the car. We stopped by his apartment to pick up his extra pair of skates. On our way to the rink, he stopped in at a Dick's.
