We started dancing with the jocks,and it was absoulutely amazing. Annie's dance figures were graceful,and even I,had a very good time. It was then that one boy,Jackson,started to ask Annie questions. "Who are you? I never knew that the girls in our school were so pretty.Are you a new student?" Annie said nothing. Jackson gently touched her shoulder and repeated. When Annie still didn't reply, Jackson slammed her to the ground. He yelled with monstrous fury: "ARE YOU IGNORING ME?!" Her cheeks got bloody. Jackson suddenly realized everything. Hey! This is the deaf girl Annie! That means the girl over there,must be her friend Lilac the Alien!Get them!" All of a sudden all the boys that were looking at us with sympathy were coming to beat us,the boys already started kicking Annie. This was towards the ends of the prom,so not a single soul heard our screams.
I made a quick move and ripped my gown,tripped over it,and grabbed Annie by the wrist. We started running towards the car, and luckily,Annie's mom was there. She asked us what had happened at the prom(using sign language) and we told her the whole story.When I went home I was trembling. I heard my mom and dad whisper to eachother:"She has a problem.We have to take her to the psycologist." Oh no,was this just a bad dream? I had to get rid of this somehow!
