He must've sensed how scared I was,so he told me some stuff about who he was."Don't be afraid,Lilac,I am Mark Houselstine. From the FBI. I've come here to take you home, your family is very worried about you." I could only nod. "Have you found her?" His friend asked. Mark answered with his deep, dark voice. "Yes,we found her." In the car, they asked me what I was doing in the hospital,so I told them everything. How Annie had commited suicide, and how she had a crack in her neck and when I started talking about the coma,I couldn't help but burst into tears. Mark and his mate,Chuck, tried to comfort me on our way home. When we were finally home, my mom hugged me super tight, and they thanked the police once more.
My dad started having a rant about how they had missed me and how they thought I had been kidnapped. When he was finished with his rant,he gave me a punishment, and I was not to be allowed out of the house for a week. I was so paranoid and worried about Annie, what if she didn't even survive the night? What if I missed he funeral? I was thinking so pessimistic ally about my friends fate that I started thinking of a euology in my mind already, the dress I would wear to the funeral...
One week seemed to be passing in slow motion. It had only been three days yet,but still I never completely got over the feeling that Annie might've been dead, and I would not stop believing into that until I had seen her alive with my own eyes.
