It was the last day of school,I was FİNALLY going to get rid of this hell hole and into the cool sea. Annie was going to come with us to our holiday destination, her parents had to go on a last minute business trip and gave Annie the choice to either go with them or with us. She told me she would rather spend a real holiday with us than spend it in Tokyo, waiting for her parents' meeting to be over. I was rather happy that she was coming with us,even though our plans for Atlanta were practically ruined. My mom had promised me to go to Miami,so that I had something to look forward to. But going there with Annie, now that was exciting. While I daydreamed about Miami,I wondered how many hours we had left until school finished. You know that last few pain-in-the-crack school hour? This was it.
Ugh,so annoying!
Honestly,I would rather scribble sh*t in my notebook than listen to boring old Mr. Hillkind drool all over himself in the middle of the lesson. No offense, but he is SO old that he literally starts snoring in the middle of class, and we just do whatever the hell we want. Once,he slept for a WHOLE entire lesson, while me and Annie enjoyed ourselves, looking at dog pictures and having endless conversations.
I forgot to mention that me and Annie have an obsession that we share: Dogs.
They are just so cute and adorable with their soft fur and big eyes! I have never owned a dog,or any kind of animal, really. Annie used to have a dog,a beautiful Golden Retriever named Hansel. He was ever so sweet and energetic! He would get super excited anytime Annie walked in the room, yet unfortunately, Annie's family moved a lot,and in their new condo, big dogs were not allowed,so Annie wanted a dog to make up for the memory.
"I'm thinking small," she said. "Like, maybe a Yorkshire Terrier? Oh,they are so cute and full of energy! If I evet get one,I'm totally gonna name it Vanilla!" I asked her why she would name her dog that. "To be ironic,I guess. But hey! Vanilla STICKS are brown!" She said excitedly.
Oh god, Annie, this is why you are my best friend.
I,on the other hand, wanted a bigger dog,but not too big. Yorkies were too high energy for me,I wanted a sweet, lazy dog. Even though I adored the spaniels' looks,I was sad to learn that they weren't a match for me. That was,of course, before I found out about the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. Oh my, sweet, cuddly and lazy. They were perfect for me!
School was FINALLY over, and my mom came to pick me and Annie up. We were having a sleepover party that night. They both had suspicious grins on their faces, and my mom was hiding something behind her back. I took a small peak, and hugged my mom's neck. I could not believe it...
