It was our last day in Miami,we said our final goodbyes to Mike and Luke. We promised that we would visit them anytime we could, yet I did not know how often. I thought that we would return home and spend the rest of the vacation there, but my mom told me we were going somewhere special, she did not tell me where, though.

I was really excited, because that day happened to be Luke's birthday. We made a homemade devil's food(his favorite kind) cake and covered it with Oreos. It really was a delicious cake. Annie and I had gotten him a surfboard shaped necklace,he loved it. Mike actually CARVED wood and made a new surfboard from him out of it. Me and Annie were amazed, that was until he told us he had made all the surfboards in their shop with his dad. Talk about a crafty family!

We sung happy birthday, and decided to give the party a little twist. We all got our surfboards -including me and Annie- and went surfing. My mom just sat in the corner, smiling, and watched us. Luke and Mike were like pros. They changed surfboards on mid-air,and did artistic moves me and Annie would never dare to do. Don't get us wrong, though,we also had a few tricks. One was called the Tornado,we would hold hands with Annie and twirl around until her surfboard went on top of mine. Then I would hop on to her surfboard. My favorite one was the Bridge,it also included Mike and Luke. We would hold eachother's hands and go under them, one at a time.

After surfing,we packed our stuff and got ready to go. Luke and I hugged. All of a sudden,we came close and kissed. It was amazing. Mike, with a sudden movement, did the same. He lifted Annie off the ground with his muscular arms and kissed her. We both blushed. "This is not the end." Luke whispered. "It is not." I whispered back.

It certainly was not the end,and not only for our love... My mom had lots more in mind for our summer vacation.
