That morning,my parents took me to the psycologist. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We communicated through sign language and when it was finally over,he whispered this to my parents:" I am very sad to tell you that your daughter has autism and will never be able to talk. But,she has an incredibly active mind that you should work with."The last part he said with a fake whisper,probably hoping I would hear. When we went home,my parents decided to give me the "pity attention". They gave me all these mental puzzles and challenges,like I was some helpless sick girl. It was just that I was foreign. Not even my parents understood me. It was only Annie,that completely understood me. She was like the hint of light that forced me NOT to have a mental breakdown. It was just then that Annie texted me. I could not believe my eyes.
