Days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months. The pack fell into a routine. Everyday one of the three would set out to find food for the day while the others searched the cities for anything. During the time Zuma and Zeus has grown rather close. Raven was just waiting for the day they make it official.
Today was Ravens turn to go hunting. She started off by the thick coarse dirt with the tall lengthy grass in which she knew grass eating creatures would be lurking. Stalking through the grass she spotted a hare. She slowly got low to her belly resting on her haunches. Raven then slowly began to crawl forward. She licked her teeth to wetten them for a more savory taste when she sunk her teeth into the flesh of the small animal. She rolled her shoulder blades back and forth and right as she was ready to pounce a flash of Black brown jumped in front of her catching the rabbit between its jaws. Raven howled in anger and pounced on the black and brown dog. She sunk her k9's into the dogs shoulder blades causing it to howl in agony as it thrashed around trying to throw her off. Raven held on tightly sinking her teeth deeper and deeper until the dog stopped moving all together and fell to the ground whining. Raven retracted her teeth out of the dogs shoulder blades to gasp in surprise. The dog she had just injured deeply just so happened to be the dog she got sent to the pound for.... it was Bronx.
She jumped up panicking as his breaths started to become shallow. She had no clue what to do so she tilted her head back and howled for Zeus and Zuma.
Moments later the two came running in. "Raven what did you do!?!" Zuma Barked In panic as she rushed around gathering damp moss and cob webs. If you couldn't tell already she was quite good with medical issues she learned from her mother. She quickly applied the damp moss and then cobwebs over top to keep stuck to Bronx. "I-I thought it was an Intruder trying to steal my kill!" She yipped her ear flat against her head and tail tucked between her legs. "You should have realized it was another dog. The one you saved before!" Zeus snarled at Raven who flinched away backing up. She had told her pack the story of how she ended up in the pound and described the little dog she saved. She whined as Zuma carefully lifted Bronx into Zeus's back to take back to their camp. Zeus began the journey back Zuma following and Raven behind her. Zuma turned to Raven as Zeus kept walking. "I suggest you go cool off. Think about what you did before returning back. If you think you didn't do anything wrong and it was an "accident" I suggest you don't return back. We don't want you to attack one of us next" and with that Zuma turned tailed and ran to catch up with Zeus. Raven couldn't believe the words that left Zumas mouth. Was she really dangerous? Did she really do it on purpose out of spite of the little dog getting her caught and thrown into the pound. She whined and turned and trotted the opposite way. She was ashamed of what happened. By the sounds of it Zuma doesn't want her to return back to the pack. So Raven decided she would venture on her own. She didn't need so called "friends" who thought she was dangerous when all she was trying to do was provide for them.Raven walked to the opposite side of the city in which she hoped she would never run into Zeus,Zuma, or Bronx ever again. She would create her own pack. A solo pack. One where its a pack with just her in it, and so Raven was solo once more on the big open streets of Dallas. People would glare and call her hateful names because of how dirty and mutt like she looked. She flinched at every name she was called it was affecting her this time rather than last because she knew what they were saying was true, or so she thought.
Raven trotted down the pavement. Her paw pads scraping against the concrete from how dry her pads are. Thunder cracked through the air as it began to rain. Mimicking her mood of how sad she was. She kept walking until she came to the city dump. She dug under the chain link fence that lead into the dump and she got settled in a metal trash can as she rain pounded against it. Her paws were caked with mud, grass, and blood scaring her brain of what happend earlier. She laid her head between her paws and her eye lids fluttered shut with the though that the whole world is against her..
