Days turned into weeks as time flew by. Raven was enjoying her time as a pet and grew rather close with the other dog named Sasha.
On a quiet evening after the humans went to bed Raven glanced up at Sasha. "Being a pet is nice and all, but it grows old rather quick.." she trailed off not looking Sasha in the eyes afraid of what she might see. Sasha sighed "I understand because it does grow quite old doing the same thing over and over again." Raven looked up surprised of her answer. "Come with me then. Come live on the streets with me. You lived on the streets before so you know how it goes." Her small frame wiggled from happiness in hopes that Sasha would come with her. Sasha glanced at her sadly "Rave... you know I can't. My humans they would be so sad. They would be sad if you left to." Raven looked down at her paws whining softly. "You were a street dog before you were a pet. I bet you were tons more fun as a street mutt" She snapped getting a little upset at her offer being turned down. Sasha looked at Raven wide eyed and snarled "What's wrong with you? My humans SAVED me! They saved you too! You should be grateful and stop trying to run away from good things!" Sasha then jumped off the couch and trotted into her humans bedroom to be isolated away from Raven. Raven scoffed annoyed "I don't need her! I don't need anyone! I should have stuck to my plan to begin with and never gotten attached!" With that final statement she went out the dog door. She raced to the very back of the yard and began digging her anger. She could feel the clumps of mud and dirt getting stuck under her lengthy claws. Her heart racing as she could feel the ground crumbling and a hole forming to the outside. She dug and dug pouring all her emotions into escaping swearing to never get attached to someone ever again as it only lead to heartbreak.

She was free. At last. She was free. Now all was well again or so she hoped. Raven raced through the woods smelling the dirty city air close by, but she happen to not be watching where she was going and slammed right into a hard ribs. The thing she ran into rumbled with a snarl she backed up shaking before tilting her head. "Zeus? Zuma?" The male started to laugh as did the female "Raven!" They exclaimed. "How did you-" Raven began but was cut off by Zuma. "I escaped my people. They were bad. They um." She looked away not able to finished so Zeus stepped up to finish. "They abused her. As for me I escape with I was suppose to be getting destroyed. We found each other out here and have stuck together ever since." Raven yipped happily finding her friends again. "Can I stay with y'all? We can we like a stray pack!" She did a circle of excitement. Zeus grumbled something about how "he wouldn't be part of a pack" but Zuma nudged his side causing him to hush up.

So it was settled Raven,Zeus, and Zuma were a small stray dog pack. They would stick together and trust one another. Raven was glad to have found them hoping they would get her mind off of "her." They ventured toward the city as the air got colder and the winds picked up. This is good Raven thought. Life is almost normal. Almost back to the way things used to be except with a little more spice, and with that thought the pack drifted to sleep under Ravens old bench. Life was good indeed but not for long..
