The steady sound of a beep was the first thing she heard as her surroundings were coming back to her. She attempted to open her eyes but a blinding light caused her to close them quickly again. She heard a hushed tone then she could feel the room get darker. She then opened her eyes to see she was back in a kennel, with a sigh she turned on her side wincing a little. She seen a women in a lab coat bend down and wrote notes on her clip board. Strange humans.

"Raven?" She heard a whispered tone and looked to her left and seen a yellow paw sticking out of the kennel next to her. "Sasha! What are you doing here?" Then all the memories came flooding back at once. Keesha. Sasha coming to save her. The dog whom harmed her. Her tackling him to the ground. Raven groaned a little as her head hurt gaining all the memories back. "Never mind I remember now. Thank you for saving me. I was beginning to think nobody was coming." She then heard a crash in the other kennel next to her and seen a black about sticking out as far as it could go through the bars. "Me too! I was beginning to think we were gonna be stuck there forever!" It was Jeb who spoke this and Raven smiled that he also escaped with them.

She heard a soft sigh escape Sasha as she began to explain. "Zeus refused to look for you. He thought it was his fault you ran off. Thinking being Beta was to much for you. He thought you would come back because every time you usually run off you come back. The second week of you being gone Zeus began to worry, but he couldn't leave... Zuma has become ill and he had to tend to the pups. I then volunteered to go and find you as I assumed the entire mess of you running off was my fault, but I now know you didn't plan to get caught in the first place." She finished panting out as it was quite the mouth full.

Raven whined thinking of Zuma being ill. She also felt guilt for thinking Zeus didn't want to come find her when he truly did. "I shouldn't be mad at you for your choice of Marteau over me, but I am and I can't help it." Sasha said nothing her eyes becoming sad. Jeb felt pity for both females. He knew the entire reason was because Raven loved Sasha. Raven did a circle in her kennel and then carefully laid down trying not hurt herself more than she already was. She was deep in thought when two thing occurred to her 'What happend to Keesha, and how were they getting out of here?' She took in her surrounding and could sense that they were the dogs in this room. She turned to Sasha. "How are we getting out of here?"

The Labrador lifted her head studying Raven she sighed after a while. "Didn't plan it. I wasn't expecting to get hurt." Raven groaned "The faster we get out of here the better. This place brings depression to everyone." Raven stuck her paw out of the cage trying to feel for a latch. While she had her paw out the women with the lab coat and clipboard came back in with a man in a lab coat as well. They mumbled in their forbidden language staring at the dogs in the kennels. Suddenly the women came forward and unlatched Ravens Kennel. She picked her up while Raven growled at the women as a warning. Sasha and Jeb stood up sensing something bad was about to happen.

Suddenly the door burst open and with a flash something ripped Raven right out of the humans hands. The only thing Sasha and Jeb could make out as the thing turned and bolted out the door was the unique pattern of fur. Keesha.

Raven whined and panted as she bounced up an down being carried by the shepherd. After about a half hour of running the Shepherd spat her out onto the leafy ground. "Did you really think I was going to let you go that easy?  I always had a backup plan, and it was a good thing too. I will say finding you in a vets office was a lot harder than your old camp where I paid your "friends" a visit. Let's just say the other golden male didn't make it. That was just a warning. " she snickered while Raven stared at her in horror. Marteau was dead, and it was all her fault. Before Raven could answer the shepherd picked Raven up by the scruff once more and began running full fledge again toward an open field where many snarls could be heard. Raven prayed this wasn't where she died.
