Street Bound

Chapter 13

The world felt like it was going in slow motion as blood was splattered all around the ground. Ravens head whipped to the right watching as Zeus spat the torn fur of Keesha to the ground before going after Rebel.

Zuma stayed in the corner to protect her pregnant belly. Bronx standing in front of her  growling at any of the rival pack who came close. He was protecting his pack Raven had a short aw moment before her attention turned to Sasha. She was defending herself against Taylor. The two same sized dogs had a stand off before Taylor lunged at Sasha's left shoulder. Her teeth sinking in causing a yelp to escape Sasha. Raven even cringed. Sasha shook her off and they kept going at it back and forth jabbing and nipping at each other.

Suddenly before Raven could keep watching she was tackled to the ground by no other than Bobo. She landed with and umph as Bobo stood over top of her. "Let's settle this once and for all city mutt" she spat sliver flying and soaking Ravens eyes. Raven was quick flipping Bobo over and grabbing her scruff thrashing over and over again.

Bobo was able to grab Ravens throat and sink in causing Raven to yelp and run around trying to buck Bobo off. She could feel the blood dripping down her chest. Raven grabbed Bobo's hind leg ripping her off as she felt her neck skin also being tore, but Raven was becoming numb to the pain by now.

Raven threw Bobo across the junkyard hearing the satisfactory snap of Bobos leg as she yelped all the way until landing in a huge pile of junk. Raven smirked in success as the blood dripped from her chin. The white pelt turning a salmon color as she turned her attention back to Sasha who was also turning that Salmon color. She cringed seeing how weak Sasha was becoming, but before she could step in to help a flash of gold came In finishing Taylor off as Sasha collapsed. Raven rushed forward "SASHA! Sasha please please don't leave me. I can't lose you. Please" she whined licking her  snout as a lightning strike cracks in the distance.

Rain. The first Rain of the season. The golden dog returns looming over the two. It was Marteau the golden Sasha was kissing. Raven couldn't bare to look at the dog without curling her lip in disgust. She kept her head on Sasha as she felt another shadow over her before it spoke. "We need to get Sasha and Zuma to the vet. They are both in rough shape." Zeus muttered picking up a very weak Zuma on this back.

"I'll carry her." Marteau spoke getting ready to pick Sasha up before Raven snarled snapping at him "Hell if you are!" She snarled again standing over Sasha's figure. "You kisses her! You ruined everything! You-" she was cut off by Bronx of all dogs. "Raven.. if we don't get Sasha to the vet soon I'm afraid it will be too late" he whimpers softly. Raven sighs but nods backing off Sasha as Marteau picks her up. The two males take off hurrying to the vets. Raven sighs trailing behind slowly as Bronx stayed back with her.

"I'm sorry for everything that happend. I know you love Sasha and Marteau complicated everything." Bronx muttered softly trotting beside Raven. She snorted "He didn't complicate he RUINED everything. Everything we had. It's ruined. It will NEVER be the same" she shook with anger before letting out a low whine in sadness. Bronx smiled sadly at her before brushing up against her and catching up with the others.

The jack Russell kept her slow pace until the down town part of the cities comes into view and she catches up trotting beside Zeus. Not giving Marteau a spare glance. Thoughts spread wildly through her mind.

'Will Sasha be alright? If she dies will it be all my fault? Will Zuma's pups be okay? Is this all her fault for ever getting involved with the rival pack to begin with?"

She kept walking with the pack as the vets glowing sign came into view. She inhaled a deep breathe. Now was the moment of truth.
