Blood. That's all she could see, smell, and taste. As she watched the golden dog Shake is head and refuse a direct order from the alpha. That's it. It set her off. It was time to put this dog in his place and teach him a lesson once and for all.
Would she kill him? No, death was to easy for the crimes this mutt had committed. He should have to live with the guilt that he turned her into the dog she is now. She could feel the rage burning throughout her whole body. The little bit of patience she had was burnt into a crisp.
She lunged right for his fluffy thick neck as he yelped shaking his neck vigorously trying to throw the small dog off. She kept her ground though sinking her teeth deeper, and deeper into his flesh. She could taste the metallic taste of his blood in which only made her crave it more. She wanted his blood to spilt and that it would. Raven released the dog only to re-grip in a different area of his neck causing his once golden fur to turn into a deep red. He yelped in misery as Raven could see Sasha on the side lines watching in horror covering her young pup, Amber's, face. She looked at Raven with Fear.
Raven whined a little as she never wanted Sasha to look at her with Fear. Fear was something only bad dogs seen, and she was becoming one. No matter how much she hated this dog she had gripped around the neck, she couldn't hurt him to bad. It would hurt Sasha and no matter how badly Sasha broke her heart, she couldn't dare to break hers. She released the golden dog who fell to the ground from lack of blood loss. Raven gathered her bearings and bared her teeth at the golden male. "Next time I won't let you go so easy." She snarled her tongue flying out to lick over her pearly white teeth.
The golden nodded weakly as his head fell back down. Raven looked to Sasha "Your mate is now Omega, and because you are his mate.." she spat the last word as if it were poison. "you and your pup are also omega until something happens to your mate or your two split." Sasha looked at Raven with wide eyes not saying anything. Her body quaking with fear. "DO YOU UNDERSTAND?" Raven shouted louder and more prominent this time the golden female nodded her head, and ushered Amber inside their den before coming back out and helping Marteau back to the den.
Could she do this? No. Did anyone question her authority? No. Did Zeus let this slide as it was needed to help straighten out the pack. Yes. So Marteau,Sasha, and their little girl Amber were all now considered omegas of the pack. Which is the lowest rank possible you can get in a pack apart from being banned and being a stray.
Stray. Oh how Raven did miss being a stray all alone. Life was so much simpler. No drama. No complicated exes. Just freedom. She wished she could go back to that life. If only she would have let Bronx get caught by the dog catchers she would still be out there now. Free of everything. She sighed and brushed off the thoughts, because she is thankful for everyone she has met on her journey. Yet, she wished things were simpler and less complicated.
Everyone stood watching Raven wide eyed. Zeus grunted "Move along nothing to see here" he didn't ask he demanded the rest of the pack as they scattered to do their own activities. "Rave... are you okay? I thought for sure you were going to finish him... what stopped you?" Zeus blurt out all these questions looking Raven right in the face. She sighed "I'm fine. I didn't finish him because I couldn't do that to Sasha. No matter how badly she hurt me." Raven was staring at the ground her claws extending and digging deeper into the thick soil. Just when she thought her nails were going to break for the 4th time this month. She felt a wet about touch her shoulder blade. "Rave.. let it go. She's not worth your anger." She let out a breath she wasn't aware she was holding in.
"Thanks Z. It just makes me so angry that I can't hurt her back mentally. Also I appreciate you letting me take my anger out on Marteau I really needed it. I hope I didn't hurt him to bad..." she trailed off silently hoping she did hurt him quite bad. Yet she would never admit it to anyone. As she hardly admitted it to herself that she could wish something like pain upon a dog.
Zeus just nodded "That's it though. Don't go starting any more trouble or the other packs will start asking questions." He spoke with a bit of sternness to his voice as if he were talking to a young pup. Raven nodded once more and Zeus walked off most likely to tend to Zuma,Acer, and Nix. Raven loved Zuma and Zeus' pups to death she was their auntie Raven and she loved it, but she wasn't sure they would ever look at her the same after some of what they witnessed today. Hopefully they wouldn't hate her too bad as she was only putting the Golden in his place.
She shook the thoughts and went back to her training area attacking the leather bag once more. Releasing the last bit of anger she had leftover from the fight. No paying attention behind her was a thunderous crack. She whipped her head around but shrugged it off thinking it was maybe a rabbit. It watched her fighting using every last ounce of her energy left. That's the perfect state to attack. Where she is weak and can hardly fight back. It leaped from the shadows landing on top of Raven crushing her. It could hear her painful and surprised yelps that soon quieted down due to lack of oxygen. There she lay passed out as it dragged her toward the unknown...
