Street Bound

Chapter 8

"Bum Dum Dum Bum" she sound awoken a very sore and sleepy Raven from her slumber. It sounded like a war drum in which made her very curious, but cautious.

She carefully got up and trotted out of her trashcan into the musky air of the night. The clomping of paw pads could be heard to her right as she seen all the junkyard dogs standing there with mud all over their pelts, and huge gashes.

"Welcome Raven To The Pit" a voice echoed off from behind her as she recognized Bobo the leader with Rebel at her side no emotion on his face still.

"This is your third trial and it is quite challenging if I say so myself." She hopped off her make do "throne" which was just a bunch of junk piled high. "We as junkyard dogs have to defend our land, and sometimes that results  in us having to kill another animal mostly dogs"

If Ravens eyes could have became any larger they would have. Bobo noticed the fear filling Ravens face as she snickered "Not up for it? Well just end your pathetic life now then" Bobo snarled and Raven shook her head no before walking into the pit. Which just so happens to be the ditch she was thrown in and asked to escape.

"We have gathered a dog off the street. Your job kill or be killed." Bobo concluded a mischievous smile appearing on her face as she nodded to Keesha and Taylor who had a very familiar yellow dog by the scruff. Raven couldn't even comprehend before she was thrown into the pit.

"S-Sasha!?" Raven gasped running over to her side ignoring Bobo's protests. Sasha stood up shakily coughing "I'm fine"  she returned a sad smile to Raven. "How did you even end up out here?" Raven whined as snarls could be heard in the background "I went looking for you. I want to be with you Raven." She licked Ravens cheek causing a tint of red to flush her.

The sound of paws hitting the ground behind her caused Raven to turn around and face the shepherd whom landed behind her with a thud. Keesha snarled "What do you think your doing!? KILL HER!" Keesha snapped her muzzle dripping with Drool.

Raven snarled standing in a protective stance in front of Sasha. "I will never hurt her let alone kill her. I LOVE HER" Raven shook with anger her lip curled to reveal her K9s.

Keesha snarled "YOU KNEW THE DEAL! You knew if you failed the tasks you die!" She took a threatening step forward toward Raven.

Raven stood her ground snarling. She whispered to Sasha "Run." And that she did. All Chaos then broke out.
