The White Lion

Chapter 2

Then I hugged him. Like a big bear hug. He seemed very surprised by this; well more than I expected anyway. "Thank you again! I'll see you tomorrow I guess!" I said while still hugging him. Then I quickly let go of him and ran off to find Shiro so he could drive me to Keith's place.

I find Shiro walking with Adam and he was clearly ticked off about something. I don't know if I should say anything but here goes.
"Hey.....Shiro," He then turned to look at me and formed a smile I knew that was forced.
"Alex could you give me a couple minutes? I just need to finish my conversation with Adam. I will meet you back in your room okay?" Is all Shiro said as I politely agreed and went off to my room.
          My room isn't all that great, I mean I got a whole thing to myself it I rarely even stay in here. Well the walls are some type of grey while the flooring is carpet and tile. It just looks so bland, but once you hit my room it is like a wave a color! My bedroom has a galaxy ceiling even though I have a corner that has glass instead of the galaxy pattern. I use that small spot to look up into the night sky when Shiro goes on his missions. Well now that I think of it my ceiling is the only thing with a color variety.
          I then here a knock on my door and I head to go answer it. It was Shiro.
          "Hey Alex um," he paused for a minute to think, "is it okay that you don't get to see Keith today? I know that I promised you last week but I have some things I want to teach him."
          "Sure that's totally fine," I say as my heart begins to sink, "do you know where Adam is then? Because I have some homework I need help on."
          He looked confused because that he knows that I never need help on my homework but answered, "Yeah, he is back in our room. I don't know when his next class is so you better hurry." 
          "Okay thanks!" I all I said as I raced down the hall to go and catch Adam.
                     
                    TIME SKIP
         
          "ADAM!!!!" I yelled as I saw him heading to his class. I finally caught up with him and told me that we are going to have to walk and talk.
          "What do you need Alex?" He asked.
          "Um....do you think I am weaker than Shiro?" I respond with sadness in my voice.
          "Why would you say that?! Of course your like Shiro maybe not in physical strength but you can surely have the same mind set and problem solving skills he has." Adam says as he look surprised and his voice sounded very confident.
          "Well one of the flight instructors said that so I was just asking," I looked down at my feet while he put his arm around my shoulders, "also a note to add; what was Shiro talking about to where he would get mad. Well he at least sounded mad."
          "He was asking my opinion on him going the Kerberos mission and I told him that I didn't want him going on it. And you saw what happened. He leaves tonight and I can't say anything to stop him. Why just won't he listen to me." Adam said while bending down so he could be at my level because he realized that my eyes started to form tears. "Alex your going to be okay. I'll be here with you, okay"
          "Adam, why wouldn't he tell me. He knows that I won't let him go either," tears by now are streaming down my face.
          "Hey hey," he looked at me dead on, "I have to go to my class but you have nothing to worry about. It's Shiro we're talking about. If need to talk about it more come to my room at 10:00pm. That's when my class is over." He gave me one last hug, kissed my left temple, smiled, and walked off.
          SHIRO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME AND ADAM?! WHAT ABOUT MOM AND DAD?! AHHHH!!!! I thought as I ran outside and kept on running. I made it to base and noticed that there was one bike left, so I grabbed it and speeded to Keith's house to find Shiro.
