Chapter 11

          He the leaned down to kiss my temple lightly which gave me a small smile as I drifted off into unconsciousness.
          I woke up to someone gently shaking me. "Five more minutes." I say while putting my hand up to protest.
          "We don't have time for you to have five more minutes." A voice said that I recognise to well. I bolted out of bed a practly jumped on top of him causing him to lose his balance and fall to the ground. His hands quickly raced around my waist while mine went around his neck. "Why hello to you too." He muffled into my neck as I laugh.
          "I've missed you mullet head." I say as I try to keep my composure. He still holds on tight even though I thought we didn't have a extra five more minutes. We both layed like that for a while. So long that they made Lance go check on us to see if everything was okay.
          "Wow Keith you get older and you get the girl!!" Lance said sarcastically even though anyone could tell there was a hint of jealously in his words.
          "Shut up Lance!" Keith says annoyed as we both get up and all three of us head to the meeting area. I noticed that the prince isn't with us.
          "What happened with the Prince?" I ask now seeing another lady and it looked like she was part cat. What the heck is going on?!
          "Okay before we get started we have to get Alex on the same page. Would anyone like to try?" Shiro asked as Me, Keith, and Lance sat down at the table.
          "Basically Lotor is the prince of the Galra race and he is now a bad guy try to take up all the quintessence to gain more power. Now we have to stop him with Voltron and now he has a suit that is quintessence powered and the more it has the more powerful it become. Now that Keith is back we can have the original Voltron team take him down!" Hunk says while making eye contact the entire time.
          "Umm.....the Galra race?" I asked completely dumbfounded that they have to fight aliens.
          "Oh right you don't know them but they look something like Keith's mom but more terrifying. Sorry I am just using you as a reference." Lance then chips in. I look over to see the woman I glanced at early staring directly at me and I immediately look away. That's Keith's mom! Wait so Keith's a alien? I looked over at him and he could tell that I was confused.
          "What?" He asked.
          "You're part Galra?!" I say while trying to keep my voice down because Allura and Shiro were trying to make a plan.
          "Yeah pretty much and that's how I am able to be part of BOM." After that I felt something rub against the outside of my leg and I look down to see a dog with its head plopped on the top of my thigh. OMG IT'S A DOG!!!! WHO OWNS THIS BEAUTIFUL CREATURE! I WANT TO PET IT SO BAD! With my head trying not to exploded Keith leans in and says, "You can pet him. He won't bit you." I look at him and realized this is his dog. I put my hand and the dog's head and smile with delight. Then I knew I had to pay attention so I kept petting the dog while looking up. I felt the dog shift but only because he sat down but his head remained in my lap. When the meeting was over it turns out that I actually have to help them defeat Lotor but they know that I cant control it right now. So when the time comes I will ride with Keith.
          I run up to Keith to see him petting his dog. He gently looks up at me and gave me a questioning look.
          "So when did you get a dog? And what's his name? Plus when did you find your Mom?!" I ask in rapid fire.
          "Woah calm down I cant understand you when you talk that fast. I got this dog when I was on the trip with my mom. He doesn't have a name but everyone calls him Cosmo, and I found my mom when I got into BOM. Now anymore rapid firing or am I free to go?"
          "No....and sorry for keeping you." I look back at the dog and smile then turn the other way to walk back and bump into someone that was standing right behind me. "Oh my gosh...I am so sorry!" I glance up to see that it is Keith's mom.
          "No worries." She says smoothly and slips past me to go talk with her son. Come on Alex! You have to do the dumbest stuff in front of your best friend's mom! I turn the corner and stop to compose myself, plus to mentally smack my face and happen to hear Keith and his mom speaking. 
          "So that's the one you kept telling me about? She is your "best friend" so you call it?" She asked while looking at him.
          "Yeah, sorry she seems a little weird at first but once you get past that you get the best person you will ever meet." He smiles at his comment while he sees his dog start to walk off.
          "You are seriously going to let him wander the castle by himself?" She says as they start to walk off.
          "Mom, he is a dog. Let him wander." He says before they continue talking about the next mission. That's when I look down to see Cosmo staring at me.
          "I wasn't eavesdropping! I was just collecting myself from when I hit Keith's mom." Cosmo gave me the look and my shoulders fell in defeat. "You tell no one." Is all I could say before he happily wagged his tail while he was walking away.
