The White Lion

Chapter 3

SHIRO WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU?! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO ME AND ADAM?! WHAT ABOUT MOM AND DAD?! AHHHH!!!! I thought as I ran outside and kept on running. I made it to base and noticed that there was one bike left, so I grabbed it and speeded to Keith's house to find Shiro.

          I finally made it to Keith's house with blood shot eyes from crying so much. Next I ran into the house with out thinking and yelled for Shiro. Keith came running out and asked, "Alex is everything alright?! Why do you need Shiro?"
          "I just need to talk to him. Do you know where he is?" I respond trying to sped up the conversation. I know that Keith can be caring towards his friends and try to get them to calm down, but at the moment I don't need that.
          "He's our back working one of the motor bikes." He says as I thank him and run to the back. I saw Shiro turn around when I opened the back door.
          "Alex?! Why are you he- wait have you been crying?" He stops what he is doing and rushes towards me and tries to touch my arm. I quickly move out of the way and yell,
          "WHAT THE HECK SHIRO!!!! WHY WOULD YOU NOT TELL ME ABOUT THE KERBEROS MISSION!! LEAVING ME TO FIND OUT FROM ADAM!!!" I quickly lower my voice because I didn't want Keith to become caught in this mess as well, "Shiro what about Mom and Dad? What about me? Did you not care for my opinion? I am not six anymore I have the right to use my own voice." He looks surprised at what I have just said. Yet again he has to think before he responds.
          "Alex you are completely correct about having your own voice but I already know what your answer is going to be. You would say no and give me some explained of why I shouldn't go. You do this on every mission I go on," He then tries to look into my eyes but I avoid it. "Alex please just look at me." His voice gets softer which causes me to then look up.
          "What?" Is all I could say with knowing that I had said all I could.
          " I know this mission is important to the Garrison and importantly to me. Alex going on this mission will be risky but I will always make it home back to you. You understand me? Always." When hearing this it causes me to smile. "That's the Alex I know. Now let's go inside it is starting to get dark. We probably have to go back to the Garrison before everyone starts to freak out." After that we both walk back inside and say are goodbyes to Keith. 
          When we are on the road, which of course means that Shiro is driving, I start to think the possibilities of me actually going up to space, but that soon gets clouded out by me thinking that Shiro may die from tonight until he comes back home.
