The White Lion

Chapter 4

          "...but that soon gets clouded out by me thinking that Shiro may die from tonight until he comes back home."
          I really hope that Shiro doesn't die from this stupid mission. I just hope everything goes okay.
          He drops me off at my room and tells me to stay here as he leaves to load the ship with Matt and Mr. Holt. I have also known Matt for awhile since he has been working with Mr. Holt. He is a very smart kid.
          The only thing I remember going on into the night is looking out of my little sky window and seeing the spaceship take of a feeling fresh tears falling down my face. This is going to be a long trip. Is the last thing I remember before seeing Adam come in my room and put me in bed before passing out.

ONE YEAR LATER

          I was about to go in a simulation with my crew and Lance's crew was up. The only reason he got moved up into this u it is because Keith left. You just had to trade on of the best pilot for one of the worst. They don't even know how to communicate correctly.
          They finally got out after failing. Now a days you only get on shot. After they left and got lectured to it was our turn. Currently I got moved to Main Pilot while James is Assistant. This change happened 6 months ago. I currently changed my routine because if I was ever going to get Shiro back I need to learn how to fly correctly.
           We passed our test with flying colors and I ad to make my way to Adam's room after since there was tutoring for the exams that our coming up and I volunteered to help out. Once I made it to his room he said he had just finished the last one.
           "Adam what was the point of me coming if you had already finished?" I say while laughing in the process.
 

         "Sorry Alex not a lot of people actually came this time, but some of the students that need help didn't come. I will be making some calls later." He said while smiling. He's doesn't normally joke around with this type of stuff, but you know sometimes people slip.
          "Well since we and by that I mean you I was wondering if I could go out back and practice my motorbike skills?" I say hoping for a yes.
          "What skills?" He says back playfully. Since Shiro disappeared we only have eachother. That is why he kind of changed.
          "Hey! That's mean!" I respond with a shocked look and turned around in the process.
          "Yeah you can go but let me right you a pass so you don't get in trouble." he says while he trys to find a pass. When he is done I say thank you and walk off to go practice.
          The time I get out there it is already pitch black outside but yet again I really don't care. So in the middle of my riding route I see this big flash and see something crash to the ground. I then immediately push on the gas and race towards the crash site. When I arrived I saw Keith so I decided to sneak up on him.
          "Hey Keith.....what's going on?"
          "Alex what are y...," he stops in the middle of his sentence, "umm... I have no idea. All I know about is that it kind of looks alien in a way." We haven't spoken since Shiro disappeared, but neither one of us has tried to talk so I guess we are neutral in a way now. Then out of nowhere Keith takes off and trys to get in while kicking and punching people.
          "KEITH WHAT ARE YOU DOING!" I yell as I follow in right behind him. I arrive and I see him trying to pick up someone. "SHIRO!" I then go and help hime pick him up and when we do I see Lance and his crew follow in.
          "Keith, Alex what are you guys doing here?" Lance says while looking at me, and at some point I think he puffs out his chest. I'm not sure nut it sure seems that way.
          "Currently trying to save my brother why?" I respond casually but I realized that Keith started to move and it is time to go.
