The White Lion

Chapter 6

          I woke up with a thin layer of cold sweat on my body. What the hell was that? I didnt have time to think about it becuase I realized I was about to be late for class. I quickly put on my uniform and got ready, and basically ran out the door to find out that my life would never be the same after today.
          It turns out that when I got to class that John and Lily got pulled from going to school and have been replaced with a girl named Nadia Rizavi, a boy named Ryan Kinkade, and another girl named Ina Leifsdottir. Turns out that I lost my place as assistant piolet. This is the best day ever isn't Alex?
          "Alex you are wanted in the Principles office imedittaly." My teacher says as I grab my stuff and lazily walk out of the classroom. I arrive at the office expecting to get kicked out of school but instead I am greated with Adam yelling and the Princible trying to cool off the situation. A couple minutes go by and I hear the yelling stop; after that I see Adam leave angrily without even aknowledging that I am there.
          "You can come in." He said while I come in quickly and quietly and take a seat.
          "You called?" I say but am quickly hit with it's not time to be funny. Even though I wasn't trtinf to be but okay.
          "I assume you know why we called you in," he looks at me and I give him a look of confusion, "we have lost all connection ww had with your brother. Adam told us not to tell you but since you are the only one remaining in Shiro's family, and sonce Adam isnt a guarding we chose otherwise." At that point I couldn't even think. My whole body went numb.
          I got out of my seat and bolted for the door. I ran down the hallways as fast as I could and I could swear I heard Adam yelling for ne to stop but I just could. Hot tears were pouring down my face as I slamed my bldy into the door that would lead me outside. Once I was freed from the school I kept on running. Like I knew where I was going.
          He can't be dead! And why would they lose connection! IT'S THERE JOB AFTER ALL TO KEEP UP WITH THIS!!!! IT'S ALL THERE FAULT! I came to a dead stop, fell to the ground, and let the tears continue to pour donw my face. He was my only escape...yes I have Adam but it's nkt the same! I stood up and stared into the distance. I found myself looking at a huge cave. Since the Garrison was literally put in the middle of the desert I decided to cool off in the cave before heading back.

----------------20 minutes later----------------

          I think I am ready to head back. And before I could even leave the cave I spotted something shinny hiding in the back. So being the nosy person i am went to go investigate. And what i saw was something I could only dream of seeing. It looked like this huge white lion made out of metal, but it was like a ship of some kind.
          Can't worry about this now...i still have class to attend and hope I am in a new group soon. I quickly gathered my composure and headed back to the Garrison.
