Chapter 8

          "When do they want me out?" I say as my voice breaks.
          "Tonight."
          By tonight! That wont be enough time. But sure enough we happen to get most of my stuff back away. Only things like school workbooks and uniforms didnt get pack away. When I was taking all my stuff out I saw James oit of the corner of my eye. I knew that he wanted to talk to me but he knew that I wouldn't have responded so he kept his distance. I saw Lance's Father and Mother there to greet me. I thanked them for letting me stay and packed my stuff into the trunk. "I will be in the car in just a minute I need do do somethinf real quick." They said okay and got in there seats.
          Adam was leaning aganist the door just watching me put my stuff in the car. I walked over to him and we both knew what was coming. We hugged eachother so tight that I guarantee that we both could not breath. By the time we let go we were both crying because as much as it is taking me nlt to fight the school system and get a worse punishment I can't help but feel pity on Adam. He lost his boyfriend in space and now he is watching me, a kid he has known since I was 6, leave him.
          "I'm sorry" is all the words he could muster while wiping my tears off my face.
          "Dont be...its my fault that I got in trouble."
          "But it is my job to protect and take care of you." He says as a few more tears run down his face.
          "Its fine and remember I will only be one phone call away so technically you'll still be able to tell at me." I respond while he chuckles.
          "Well I dpnt want to keep them waiting any longer. Go and dont do anything Shiro would do." She says while smiling softly. All I could do was wave as I got in the back seat of the car and they took off to his house. Maybe about half way through the car ride I get a text from from James.

-------------Text conversation----------------

James- Hey is everything alright? And why were you taking your stuff from your room.

Me- Well long story short I got kicked out of the Garrison due to my behavior and dont go there anymore. And I guess I'm alright.

James- Really?! Dang...thats the stupidest reason for someone to get kicked out for!

Me- IKR! TELL ME ABOUT IT!😠

James- Well let me know if you need anything. And if you need to rant I will always be here for you.

Me- I know...i will.

James- Anyway I have to go to bed...we have a stupid early day tomorrow...and het don't die please.

Me- Can't make any promises.

James- Goodnight Alex.

Me- Goodnight James. 😋

--------------Conversation over--------------

          "Welcome to our home Alex. I know it's not a lot but its home for us." Mrs. McClain says while smiling and I hear the trunk open and bags shuffling. I get out of the car and smell fresh country air. God I missed this! "You sure look happy." Mrs. McClain says.
          "Yeah my best friend used to live out in the country and I guess I forgot how much I missed it." I respond smiling shyly.
          "Well then you'll be great work out on the farm then." I hear a unfimilar voice coming from behind me. "Hi I'm Veronica. Lance's older sister."
          I turn around to see a beautiful dark skinned girl with glasses and shoulder length brown hair and eyes. She is also wesring a Garrison uniform. "Hi I am Alex Shirogane and quick question why arent you at the Garrison right now?"
          "Well lets just say they wanted to make sure you got home safely and didnt escape." She replies while laughing. After that I am taken into the home to be given my room. Which is the guest bedroom. Which I dont mind at all. Then after that they take me to the dining room to eat dinner with them as well as get introductions out of the way. So there are his grandparents, his parents, his two older sisters Veronica and Rachel, his two older brothers Marco and Luis, his sister-in-law Lisa, and his nephew and niece Nadia and Sylvio.
          Then we got to eat and can I just say the food was the most amazing food I have ever eaten in my entire life! Once that was over we all said our goodbyes and went to our rooms to get to bed. Once I was comfortable in my bed I heard a knock on my door.
          "Come in." I say as I sit up in bed.
          "Sorry, did I wake you?" It was Mrs. McClain.
          "No you didn't? Did you need something?" I asked.
          "Well I just wanted to check up on you and see how you like it here. And to let you know that we start at 6 am for the farm." She says while walking in and sitting down at the end of my bed.
          "I think everything is perfect here. You dont have to worry about me but thank you." I say polity feeling this weird sensation in my chest.
          "Well if you are a coffee drinker the pot is brewed at 5:15 and gone by 5:25 so just a heads up." She says as she pats my leg and leaves the room while shutting the door before I can even say thank you. After that I pished this weird feeling as side and went to sleep.
