"Iceland?" Josh repeats the last word of my question, I start to explain in further detail my ideas for our upcoming era.
Trench.
"Wow, that sounds incredible." Josh lets out a happy exhale.
"This is a team effort, so I want you to be included in this as much as possible," I lean forward in my chair. "I don't want you to think I'm doing this all myself, I really want your input-"
"Tyler, don't worry, Trench sounds amazing." The drummer soothes my worried mindset.
"Okay, cool. Just making sure, man. You can bring (Y/N) too if you want!"
"That sounds great! I-"
A silence lingers over the line for a moment.
Did the call drop?
"Uh, hello?" I call out.
"Sorry, I-I just thought of something..."
"What did you think of?" I lean back feeling eager by Josh's statement.
"I mean, I just thought...well- I don't know, I don't want it to distract from our work-"
"Tell me!" I demand, too curious to let it go now.
I hear Josh laugh. "Alright, alright!"
Josh proceeds to tell me his idea in detail, I start to beam with joy.

"Oh my god, Josh that'd be so cool!" I suddenly get even more excited.
"Do you really think so? I mean I'd have to run it by (Y/N), of course, and it'd still be a few months before it actually happened-"
"JOSH DUN, GO TELL YOUR FINACEE RIGHT NOW AND LET ME KNOW ASAP." I yell.
"COOL, THANK YOU, LOVE YOU, BYE-" He hangs up.
I chuckle out loud and place my phone down.
That guy.
Placing my headphones back to my ears, I scoot closer to my desk.
I begin to write the ending lyrics of the song I'd been working on before Josh called, I picture the drumbeat in my head as I begin to scribble various words and notes.
