Let me start by saying this: There are more than five powers.
There's an abundance of powers. A whole world of them, not just the small islands that are earth, wind, water, and fire.
And don't even get me started on energy manipulation...
So here's refreshing list that's not the five overused powers.
Duplication- the ability to duplicate one's self, or pull the other-dimension-version of themselves from a different dimension.
Shapeshifters- being able to shape into any living thing, including humans.
Regeneration-Kinda generic but still, healing.
Speed- the ability to run or move incredibly fast.
Time(shifter)- the ability to change time; slow it down, speed it up, stop it, etc. You can also have your OC be able stop time for others. (Make another person stop, stop time for OC and Character, so on, so fourth.)
Sound- the ability to control or mimic any sound, frequency, or pitch. Your OC could really do something with this...(this would be so cool to see, lmk if u use it or are using it)
Light- control/mimic light and its properties. Could pair up with sound. Visions- this is not a power, but if the character is trained right, it could come in some serious use.
Metal bending- it's generic, Yeah, but not a single fan fic that I've read has it yet...
Magnetism- pretty self explanatory; ability to manipulate the magnetic atmosphere, plus whatever that entails.
Gravitational pull- unlike the over used telekinesis, you can only move objects up and down, and make them lighter, or denser.
Invisibility- just like metal building
Shape control- you can make any object shrink or grow.
Mass- you can make any object a solid, gas, or liquid.
Periodic- there are many elements in the periodic table, being able to manipulate some (few would be easier than others, some may drain them to much to even use).
What not to use:
-electricity -Fire -telekinesis -forcefield -energy (without a twist)
Peter literally has spiderpowers, get creative
Use what you can. Think beyond the box, not just out of it. Energy manipulation can be cool if you add something to it. A flaw like unbalanced power, or a specific form of energy like using that of technology. (They can manipulate technology to form things, draw the electricity from them, and gather any information that is on the internet)
Bam, an overused ability made really cool by thinking about what I could do with it.
