Me: reads a funny chapter Also me: *blows air through my nose*
This is what we want. I for one, would love to laugh in a peter parker fanfic. Just cuz a building falls on him once does not mean we have to make the whole book a serious plot.
There are small little chapters in between the movie plots where things need to happen, and it doesn't have to be romantic or dramatic.
(I'd say it's safe to write this but FFH spoiler)
For example, there's a small scene in Spider-Man: Far From Home where he's at the airport, flash is calling him poor, MJ stands up for peter, the perfume allergy, the restroom on the plane, Mr. Harrington sleeping on him, and then finally a dog sniffs his suit case and it gets checks and the lady is like "no banana".
That scene is really choppy and if you plan on writing it you'll need some in between. There's already enough romance and sad times in far from home, so why not add a funny little plot thing in there.
It doesn't have to be important, just small and enough to make me blow air out of my nose. So here's some funny things to do in any situation
-bring out a funny trait of a friend -an inside joke -a clumsy mistake -flash getting punched in the nuts(yes I'm aware it already happened but why not twice) -an overprotective mother texting -thinking peter is one person but that person just looked like peter from behind -talking shiii about someone when they're right behind them.
And so much more :D
