Other than that, thank you so much for reading. It's meant a lot to me, and I'm really glad to have people actually like this book. I love writing for y'all :)

Danielle's POV

"Man, I don't know how I feel about this" August said shakily, rubbing the back of his head of which his hair has been growing a lot recently as I've noticed.

"All it is, is singing into a camera" I told him. Although I'm not a singer myself, I can sorta see where he's coming from - I mean, he's probably afraid to sing in front of the audience that might watch his singing, whether a large audience or small.

"I know but... I left all my passion for singing behind a long time ago, you know?"

"Did you even wanna leave it behind?" I asked. This question must've took him back, because he'd opened his mouth immediately to answer, but then closed it right away and began to scroll his eyes around the room and caught himself having to think about what to say.

He ended up not answering. No sound came out of his mouth exept for a few of the slyest breaths.

"Nothing bad is gonna come out of this, August" I continued. "Literally, nothing."

He pursed his lips to the side, and then finally gave in with an "Aight", then ordered me to set youtube's webcam up, which I did, and that's when he began singing. That beautiful voice effortlessly flowing out his mouth with swift tone, his words soft and gente yet powerful all at once. There's no way you can listen to his voice without smiling or feeling all good inside.

The song he sang was "Someone Like You" by Adele, which actually surprised me, because I didn't think August would chose a song like that... it just doesn't really suit his personality in my opinion. But he sang it, and he sang that song perfectly. Not one flaw did I hear.

When he finished, he fell silent as he leaned over and stopped the recording. He leaned back with a gulp, and I just clapped.

"Thanks" he said through the slightest laugh, his cheeks beginning to flush.

"Your voice is perfect" I complimented.

"You're perfect" he said back. That made my heart feel like it was being hugged... have you ever gotten that feeling? Like, once you start to really like somebody, it's like... any tiny sweet thing they say to you sends flutters through your body, embraces your heart and makes you feel so good inside altogether.

"You really think so?" I asked. He nodded, and I told him he was sweet, then he smiled and leaned in to kiss me. His right hand moved across my cheek and swept my loose hair behind my ear, leaving his hand in that direct spot as he kissed me smoothly and soft - and, of course, I kissed right back.

Even though our makeout session was light this time, he's a really good kisser in general - I actually discovered this that New Years night when we kissed as the ball dropped and triggered the eruption of the party's crowd and the other kissing couples.

He has talent with those lips, I can't even lie. Maybe that's way I hadn't forgotten that kiss despite how drunk I'd been as I kissed him and how hungover I was the next day.

My legs were now on either side of August's waist. His hands worked there way down to my own waist as my arms coiled around his neck, and our kissing pace kicked up as our lips gradually collided a little harder. And the harder and faster it got, the more he pulled me closer to him until our bodies had no space inbetween us.
