We get out of bed at 6:30 and get dressed. I go out first I only saw the guy that gave us our key out front, oh good!
Last night was Valentines Day. We finally get to school and walk into the gym and my mothers are standing by the door
"Where were you last night?" Mama demands
"I don't think you want to start this conversation in the middle of the gym, do you? I have practice in like 2 minutes and need my game face, plus it's spirit week" I say "they want me to be mascot all week, I said yes"
"Well at least take your head off during school." She says "I don't need to lose a daughter because, she lost her head!"
"Ok"
I'll always remember the night Chloe and I've shared together. I walk by Chloe and take my head off
"Hey girl" I say smirking
"Hey Abs" she whispers winking "how are you?"
"I'm great, I'm abs" I say jokingly
"Yeah" she whispered in my ear "you'll always be abs to me honey, just as long as you don't lose them"
"Girl, I may have it all but my abs are ALL yours" I smirk
It's was now the end of the day and mama and mom ganged up on me.
"Where were you last night?!"
"Guys, still not the best time, practice has started" I say "unless you're willing too stay and cheer?"
"We will"
I wasn't the only one in the locker room with them. I should learn to keep my mouth shut.
The squad, Sheki, Chloe, our moms and I were in the locker room. They walk out and I walk up to Chloe.
"Chloe, we have a problem"
"I heard Kasy" she frowned "I'm with you through this, even if your mother's get angry or upset"
"Good to hear" I say "play along with me please?"
"Ok"
We walk out and our moms are on the bottom bleachers cheering.
"That was great"
Practice was now over
"Where were you last night, Kasy?"
"I was on a Valentines Day date with Chloe"
"What'd you two do?"
I convinced Chloe to play along
"Oh we went to the mall, I ran into Anna from grade school, afterwards we went out for a bite and went to go see the newest movie" I say "I wanted to see fooling the fools and Chloe wanted to see Abby's New Adventures but sadly they were both sold out"
I lied about the eating and the movies
"Oh well it looks like you guys were busy with your date" Mom says
"Kimmy, they're up to something"
"You always say that!"
"Yup, we were busy"
"I've never heard of those titles, do you mind sharing what they're about?" Mama asks smirking
"Fooling the Fools is about a guy who goes around his hometown trying to fool everyone on April Fools but he forgets that the person he forgot to fool was himself" I say "Abby's New Adventure is about a girl who eventually finds true love and soon she realizes that the one person who's perfect for her is right in front of her"
