I'm home, our grandmothers and Aunts are coming over to see Abby's bruises, I feel terrible for what I've done. There was a knock at the door, I got it.
"Hi guys" I sigh
"Hey you did the right thing" Aunt Jacky says "you owned up to your mistakes"
Abby and Jessica walk in the door.
"Hey Abby" I say "look who is here"
"Oh, right let me go change real quick"
Abby went into her bedroom came out wearing a two piece swimsuit.
"Can we take pictures of your bruises?" They ask
"Yeah, can you use the camera our moms use?"
"Sure"
They took their pictures and gave the extras that they had to Abby.
I am gonna try and not mess things up, I've hurt Abby for 6 years! Everyone smiled, gave us loves then left.
"Ok, I'm gonna go change" Abby says
"Ok"
Jess was about to leave
"Ok I'm out"
"Ok" I say
"You ok Jacob?" They ask
"I'm fine" I lie
"No you're not" Jessica says "you still feel guilty about the trouble you have caused"
"Alright fine!" I say "I feel terrible for the trouble I've caused Abby, I have been a terrible brother"
"It's ok" They say
"I have a date with Charlie" Jessica says "I have to go"
"Bye" Abby smiles
"Ok, see you later" she smiles
Abby smiles
"Ok, you gotta tell me what's going on" I say smiling
"Jess and Charlie are dating"
"Do Mom and Mama know?" I ask
"Yeah, I was in my room when they met Charlie, they went to prom together" Abby says "when she went to her room, I knocked and that is when she saw my black eye"
"So where do you think she's going on her date?"
"Not a clue" Abby says "probably on a date or 'to get lucky' Jacob"
"Oh, are you sure they're not in that 'let's just date' part of their relationship?" I ask
"They could be, but I wouldn't ask her if I were you"
"I won't"
