Oh my god, my beautiful wife is about to be give birth any second! She's gonna be a great mother! We've picked out baby names and we couldn't be any happier to have a family of our own!
"Hello Jess and Charlie" Mom says
"Mom?" I ask "what're you doing here?"
"I work here" she states "ok Charlie, I need you to start pushing"
"Uh how many are we having exactly?"
"Two" she says "fraternal twin girls"
"Ok Charlie, Kaitie Ann is out" I say
"Alright girls, here is girl number two"
"Charlie, she's here!" I smile
"What're you naming your girls?" Mom asks
"Kaitie Ann and Ivy Abby" I say "when Abby was in here because of Krista the last time I really thought we were going to lose her, I didn't wanna lose my best friend"
"I thought the same thing too, Jess"
"Girls, I'm off work now" mom says "do you want me to show you two to a hospital bed to rest?"
"Mom, we'd love you to show us to a hospital bed"
Mama came to the hospital and saw me getting a water from a vending machine for Charlie.
"Jess?"
"Mama, what are you doing here?" I ask
"I came to see if your mom was done working, what are you doing here?" She asks
"I was in the middle of a session with a client when Charlie went into labor, we just had our girls" I explain
"You had girls?" Mama cries
"Yes, Kaitie Ann and Ivy Abby" I say "after the 3rd time Abby was in here I was sure we were going to lose her"
"I think we all thought that"
"So I named Ivy Abby in honor of showing that Abby has tried absolutely everything to make life simple growing up for herself"
"That is very sweet of you and Charlie"
