Ken and I followed the two English speaking sailors to the command room. It was filled with various computers and had a few chairs. The room had windows all around so that the whoever was inside could see what was going on outside.
The walked over to a phone and pressed a few numbers.
"Make sure it's on speaker," Ken said. The man pressed another button and we could hear the dial tone.
A few moments later someone picked up. The man began speaking emphaticallly in russian. Then the man looked over at us.
"He's refusing to your terms. He says that there are others who have completely destroyed our rail lines beyond repair." the man said.
Ken and I exchanged a glance. That meant Dziko and Sakima had gone right to business. I wondered what the carnage looked like. I returned my gaze back to the man.
"What's your name?" I asked.
"Sergei."
"Okay, listen Sergei. Remember when I said not to underestimate our destructive power? Well now would be a pretty damn good time to tell that to your superior. Because we will level this entire fucking country if we have to. A surrender now will avoid a lot of unnecessary casualties," I said, with both of the sailors flinched at my words and tone.
Sergei turned back to the phone hesitantly. I could tell he was torn because he knew what KEn and I were capable of, but he was still a loyal sailor, respectful to his captain. Fortunately for him, it was clear that his commander had heard us.
"You may try but you will fail you vermin! My entire fleet will die in battle before we ever bow to your kind!" I heard from the phone.
Sergei said something in Russian to his commander. I looked at the woman and she met my gaze.
"I am Helga if that's what you were wondering."
"Helga, while Sergei is trying to talk sense into your commander I want you to tell me where every ship that belongs to the Naval Fleet is located," I said.
"That's something only someone higher up like the Commander would know. Us lower ranks don't get that type of information," she said.
"Makes sense. In situations like these if a ship is captured then the rest of the fleet is less likely to be ambushed," Ken said.
We needed to get the commander to talk then. We'd managed several ships, but I knew that there were probably hundreds more.
"What's the commander's location? That's something you should know," Ken asked.
Helga nodded slowly.
"He's about two miles north east of here. Last communication we had, he was still on land, but I'm sure with this information he's getting ships prepared to come to our location," Helga said.
Sergei hung up the phone.
"He's not going to surrender. He says you have half an hour to release us or else he's going to bring down the entirety of the Naval Fleet on you two," there was a mixture of pride, awe and fear in his tone.
If I were in his position, I'd want my commander to fight for me too. But Sergei had seen first hand what Ken and I were capable of.
"What do you want to do?" I asked Ken.
"Well when we first made plans it was always to bring the battle to us. If he brings the entire naval fleet here then let him. We wipe out the Naval Fleet then that's sure to catch the entire country's attention. They bring down the hammer with their air force and army. We demolish them in a few days too. They aren't going to win this," Ken said matter-of-factly.
