"Giovanna made contact with me," I said to everyone.
Ken, Ayana and Dziko remained fairly calm. But the blood drained from Timothy's already pale face. Sakima looked angry and Salali looked on edge.
"I think it's because I don't have the ability to conceal you guys anymore. This large of a group of people is impossible to hide," Hunter said.
"That's really bad news," Timothy said. I noticed him eyeing me carefully.
"She healed your concussion?" he asked. It seemed like nothing really slipped past him. I hesitated before answering him.
"Not exactly. Just used her powers to make my mind think that nothing was wrong so that I'm not writhing in pain anymore."
He shook his head.
"You should still be careful. Pain is an important indicator that something is wrong, even if it is debilitating. If you're not careful you could further injure yourself and not even know it until it's too late."
"Well we can't disagree that whatever Giovanna did, does us more benefit than harm," Sakima said.
"That's true. Even with the possible dangers we should move forward in our plans. It's too late to back out now. We must continue," Dziko said.
For as much as her and Sakima seemed to bump heads, they shared a vibrant fighting spirit. Both were ready to jump right into battle, to hell with the consequences.
"We've taken care of the navy. So naturally they'll be sending their army and air forces. Considering you guys crippled their transit system, we definitely have a battle coming. Sooner as opposed to later," Hunter said.
"I think it makes the most sense for Dziko and I to face off against the ground troops. Daisy Lynn and Ken are better suited for fighting in the sky," Sakima said.

It didn't take long for Russian forces to come marching toward us. Airships were zipping through the sky. Their army was equipped with armor and heavy artillery. The objective on their end was clear: neutralize the threat.
In order words, kill us all.
Ayana and Timothy decided they they were better off as back up rather than Hunter. Hunter was a good fighter and was used to going up against people who's powers were stronger than his. They also felt that they would be better at keeping Salali safe if they happened to ever get surrounded.
Part of me was relieved to have Hunter next to me in battle. The other part of me was very apprehensive. I didn't want to see the carnage I knew he could ensue.
As my mind mulled over the obstacles in front of us and the possible outcomes, I felt a hand on my right shoulder. It was Ken.
"It's our time to shine...again," he said with a small smile.
I looked over my left shoulder at Hunter.
"If you guys are going airborne, I'm gonna stay on the ground and back up Sakima and Dziko. Not that I really think they need it but..." he trailed off cracking his knuckles, giving a slight shrug.
And airship fired at us without warning. Ken didn't even bother moving a muscle. Using his mind alone he shifted the winds, forcing the blast back up into the sky at the unsuspecting soldiers in the sky.
"We will end this quickly," Sakima said.
"Quickly and efficiently," Dziko agreed.
Two huge tanks were barrelling toward them. The ground opened up as if it were a giant creature, that had been lying in wait for it's next meal. The tanks tumbled down into a hole Dziko created and then lava bubbled up, splashing violently. Dziko and Sakima stayed true to their word - There was no way those soldiers were coming out of that alive.
