Song Harin:

We've got a damn deadline due soon, if we want that summer break, so I should be drowning myself with work overtime by now.

But instead, I've been spending more time playing with Hwayoung after work when Minhyuk would come over too. Last night, we spent hours staring at the stars. This morning, I even grabbed breakfast with him. These were things I shouldn't be doing for so many reasons; yet as the clock striked to twelve noon, I grabbed my phone immediately and contacted Jo Jinho, making an appointment with him tonight.

Jo Jinho is my husband's younger brother who's working for a private organization called AIU, or advanced investigation unit.

I suddenly remembered how my husband had been so happy when Jinho got into such highly respected organization.

By five p.m, I tapped Minhyuk's shoulder and smiled at him. "I got us an appointment with someone who might be able to help with your brother's case." I said that for only the both of us to hear, but our boss, Im Hyunsik, was passing by and exchanged looks with Minhyuk. I haven't asked what's their relationship and how they knew each other because by now, it was way too obvious that Minhyuk got a spot in Starsign because he's friends with our editor-in-chief a.k.a CEO.

"What time?" asked Minhyuk.

"Seven p.m. but he's out of town, so we should be on our way now."

He nodded and gathered his things. "Let's go."

If our officemates noticed something between us, or if they were curious, they never askedㅡbut I knew they always watched.

"Is it okay for you to be late to pick up Hwayoung?" Minhyuk asked as he drove to Busan.

I nodded, texting on my phone. "Yeah, I just told mom that I'll be late because we're meeting with Jinho."

"So, who's this guy?"

I took a moment before responding. "My husband's younger brother. He works for AIU. That's a highly respected private organization. Something kinda like NCI. He actually lives in Seoul, but he's in the family house right now so let's meet him there."

The rest of the drive was somewhat quiet until I couldn't help but fall asleep in the passenger's seat.

LEE MINHYUK

I couldn't stop thinking about AIU. I've surely heard about it before. One of our gang members got caught by an AIU personnel on a mission. Since then, Han Hyunbin had warned us to be especially careful of them.

Maybe that's why it didn't cross my mind that they might be able to help me in finding Changsub.

I glanced at Harin beside me and found her sleeping peacefully, her head leaning against the window and despite it being shaky, she didn't wake up.
