"This is gonna be a time and a half." River spoke as she watched Louis place his car into park, the girl hadn't really been out in the public since the whole incident of the paparazzi finding her and causing a small panic attack. She had been scared of another case like that happening, so when Louis had told her she would be trying to give one-hundred compliments in a day to complete strangers, the young girl couldn't help but feel her social anxiety run through the roof.
Louis looked over at the blonde girl, cracking a half smile as he lied his hand atop of hers, catching her attention, "You'll be fine. Its just a fun little thing that you wanted to do. Plus its the perfect way to come back out and show the world you aren't scared."
"But I am scared." River reminded him, she could feel her stomach had been in knots, "What if they come up to me again, or I have a panic attack again?" She asked the boy seated next to me.
He stared at the girl, he watched her face drop and the sadness she had hidden behind her eyes, "River, I'm sure everything will go great." Louis spoke as he unlocked the car door, "Come on, we are gonna do this together. There I nothing to worry about." He tried his best to reassure the girl that everything would be okay, but River couldn't believe him, she was far too anxious, "Give it a try."
River shrugged her shoulders at the boys response, unsure of how else to respond. In times like this she wihses she could just say 'screw it' and be able to be confident and do something spontaneous, but her anxieties overfilled eher, making her nearly shake and cry with fear. Sometimes she wished she could simply just go out and not be scared, but everyone is acred, at first for the most part, and that was the one thing she told herself as she began to unbuckle her seatbelt.
louis eyes widended at the small but noticeable notion with the sound of a click, "You ready?" He questioned his blonde friend with a small smile.
An approving nod was given back to the young boy, River smiled at him, giving him a wink then proceeding to jump out of the car, "Lets get this show on the road."
