CHAPTER 14: A Fun Day

I am so thankful that Jezebel is here to help me put together this party. She has helped me since the beginning and has done a great job.

We rented out a whole entire section with picnic tables along with some private cabanas and food and drinks.

All the kids and their parents were arriving and Willow was so excited but her and I both kept looking around and waiting for Aurora. Once all her friends were all there, I had told her just to go and have fun.

I really hoped that Aurora would come. However, in the meantime, I was talking to some of the parents and my friends when I looked over someone's shoulders and noticed Colt and Aurora walking towards us.

Aurora was wearing a dress that stopped a little above her knees that I know was covering a swimsuit. I could tell she was wearing one underneath by noticing the straps tied around her neck. But why would she not remove it? I started to wonder if rather or not she had remembered this was a water park.

Right away, Jezebel gave the introductions before I had a chance to and I noticed some guys were brave enough in looking at her.

I tried making my way towards Aurora when out from behind her, I noticed Willow scream out in excitement her name and runs up to her and gives her a huge hug.

When I get to them, I nod a 'what's up' to Colt and then direct my attention at Aurora.

She starts to blush and tucks a few strands of hair behind her ear and I just smile at how cute she looks when she blushes.

"Daddy, can we please go on that Cyclone slide now?" Willow asks me as she takes hold of Aurora's hand.

"No. It isn't safe." I remind her.

"Oh but come on. I saw people have a few people in one raft. We all can get into one." Willow says.

"I'm game." Aurora smiles and looks at me.

I look at her and then at Willow while thinking about it for a moment. Then finally decide to go. So we begin making our way towards the line for the slide and wait.

It was me, Willow, Colt and Jezebel who were going to be in one raft and Willows friends and some of the parents were going to get into another one.

Willow was more than excited and was talking with her and her friends while Jezebel and Colt were talking to each other.

"Standing on this side and looking at it, it looks a little scarier." Aurora nervously chuckles.

"Eh. It's not too bad. I mean, the only thing I was really worried about was that you have to hold onto the straps on the sides of the raft as you go up and down, feeling like you're going to fall off the walls and then get to the tunnel before the bottom at the pool, going through a cyclone type thing. I just was worried if Willow accidentally let go." I tell her.

"She'll be okay." Aurora smiles at me.

"Yeah." I nod. Then I quickly notice that she's wearing her dress still. "You do know that you'll need to take that off right?"

"Why?" She asks while tugging at her dress a little bit.

"Because you don't want it to get wet, that's why you wear your swimsuit." I chuckle.

"Yeah well, I prefer this." She says.

I didn't mean to make her feel uncomfortable but I couldn't say anything else because it was our turn.

Then after getting into the inner tube and  being pushed off, heading fast down the opened tube and going up and down the walls and then finally moving round in circles until finally landing in the pool where it flipped our raft over.

We all got out laughing though and Willow especially was even more excited.

We went on a few more slides before heading back to the table where everyone was sitting at and ate some lunch and had some cake and ice cream, then opened gifts.

I swear Willow was beyond spoiled by everyone. She especially loved Aurora's gift. It was a real actual nice tea set that looked like it cost a fortune. Which is what she wanted.

After we cleaned up a little bit, I saw Aurora heading off towards the Ferris wheel with Willow and her best friend Cindy.

"Go after her." My wolf tells me and for once, so far, I'm going to listen to him. So I start catching up to them as they start to stand in line.

"Hey guys. Riding the Ferris wheel?" I ask.

"Yep!" Willow says excited.

"Can I join too?" I ask her.

"Of course daddy. You can even ride with Aurora so she doesn't ride alone." She suggests.

"It's okay, I don't mind riding alone..." She says.

"I'm not gonna bite." I wink at her.

"I know that." She laughs a little.

The guy then calls out 'Next!' And at first, Willow and Cindy sit down and then I take a seat next to Aurora and it starts going.

We shared an awkward moment of silence with each other, which we need to work on that.

"So what did you think of the park?" I ask.

"It's fun. Me and Colt never had a place like this to go to." She says.

"Me neither. In fact, my parents were always trying to help me become....." I stop myself and remind myself that I can't tell her it was for training.

"Become what?" She asks.

"Nothing." I say.
