"I don't care what you have to do, JUST make sure she lives." I order the doctor who has been trying to tell me it might be for the best if Aurora died, she was just a human anyways.

This guy was our new doctor since our regular one died a week ago. So far his first impressions aren't good with me.

"She is a human. What do you care what happens to her?" He asks.

That's when I lost it. I grabbed his neck and lifted him up in the air.

"She is my mate! Now either you help save her life before she runs out of blood or else I  will turn her and the first one she will go after is you." I warn him as my eyes turn into a deep red filled with anger.

"Fine." He says with his hands up in a surrendering gesture. "But you know you're gonna have to tell her who you all are. I can help make sure she lives but I can't erase her memory." He says as he adjusts his shirt collar and walks inside of the bedroom where she's laying on the bed, still screaming in pain. Yelling for me but no one, including me can go in there.

My mate will want to take the pain away by turning her and I feel this isn't necessarily the best time for that.

I will admit though that I should have told Aurora what we were. I wonder too if she saw Willow shift. Oh shit! Willow!

I hear her sobbing downstairs as Jezebel holds her on her lap and tries to calm her down.

"Daddy is gonna kill me." She sobs.

"No I'm not Princess." I tell her as my heart started to break even more from hearing that.

She looks up at me and jumps off Jezebel's lap and into my arms while I pick her up and hold her tightly and try to soothe her as well.

"Daddy I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to hurt her. I didn't mean to get upset either. It's just that there were these kids at the park and they were being mean and my wolf just....just...took over." She cries into my shoulder.

"Aww shh. It's okay Willow. You did nothing wrong." I assure her. "Aurora's gonna be okay but sweetie.." I had her look at me. "We need to tell her what we are when she comes back from this." I tell her.

Willow sniffles and nods her head before laying it back down onto my shoulder. To which I hold her and rub her back until she falls asleep and then I lay her down in bed before quietly closing the door behind me and when I get downstairs and head towards Aurora's bedroom, I notice Colt and Jezebel standing outside in front of her bedroom, holding each other.

Jezebel looks at me as I walk up to them and  wait alongside them for the doctor to come out and tell us how she is.

"How's Willow?" Jezebel asks.

"She's asleep." I tell her while pinching the bridge of my nose.

"I'll go make us something to eat." She says before kissing Colt and heading towards the kitchen leaving just him and I alone.

"I'm sorry." I start to tell him.

"It's not your fault. If anyone's to blame it's me." He says. "She always has taken care of me when I was supposed to be the one taking care of her, protecting her. Yet I failed again. Just like I always do." He says the last part under his breath.

I nod as I understand how he feels and what he's going through.

"Willow didn't mean it." I tell him.

"I know. I was there. I do however, want to ask you something." He begins.

"Anything." I tell him.

"Who is her mother?" He asks now no longer looking at the door but at me.

"She was a werewolf also and after she gave birth she just up and left. I don't know where she is but..." I was stopped by him.

"That's not what I meant. I mean, KIND of werewolf was she?" He asks more sternly.

"Just like me I guess. Or what do you mean? Like a hybrid or something?" I joke a little but see quickly he wasn't laughing.

"I'm asking because what I saw Willow start to turn into wasn't a regular werewolf. Her eyes were dark filled with rage, more than any werewolf I have ever encountered or read about, especially her age. Her features were not of her. She was nowhere to be found." He says.

Shit! Now he has figured out that she isn't a regular werewolf. When werewolves change into their wolf forms, they still have them that can be seen in their features. But then there are the rare breeds that have rogue behaviors and eventually feast on human flesh only. They are more like beasts than anything and can be very hard to control.

I know I need to start training Willow soon to help her control her 'urges' and fits of rage before they get worse.

"Her mother wasn't like other ones, you're right. I didn't know though what kind she really was until after she was pregnant." I confess. "But please, don't tell anyone, especially Jezebel." I ask him.

"I won't. But we need to train her." He says.

"I know." I reply.

"In the meantime also, do me a favor, when you tell Aurora what we all are, please let me there." He asks.

"Of course." I assure him with a smile.

He smiles back at me.

"I meant what I told you before by the way, I will kill you if you ever hurt her." He says while looking at me out the corner of his eye.

We both then share a laugh although I knew he was serious. Then we stopped and looked at the door as it opened up and out walked the doctor.

"So? How is she?" I ask.

"She'll be fine. She's sleeping right now and will be needing to rest for the next few days. I gave her something to ease the pain more and help her sleep as well." He says.

"Thank you." I genuinely tell him.

He smirks and nods.

"Yeah well, she's one of the strongest and most beautiful humans I've ever seen." He winks and smiles at me before leaving.
