CHAPTER 20: Let's Celebrate!

It's been a couple of weeks since mine and Aurora's first date and I have to admit that it's been amazing.

Even though it's been just a couple of weeks since we started dating and seeing each other, we both realized a couple of things. For one, we were wanting to be in a serious relationship with each other and give it a try. Then the last thing was, after we made that realization, we knew we had to tell Willow before she found out herself. So today, we chose to have a picnic at the park since it was Sunday.

When we arrived and while sitting on the blanket having lunch, we seemed to all be having a great time and laughing and then Willow said something.

"So are you gonna be my mom?" Willow asks.

I almost choked on a grape that I had just popped into my mouth and then both Aurora and I look at each other and then back at her.

"What makes you say that?" I ask nervously.

"Come on. I just turned seven and you guys are really bad at hiding it." She says before taking a drink from her capri sun.

"How long have you known?" I asked her curiously.

"For a week." She shrugs.

"Oh." Aurora replies.

"Well princess, to answer your question, she isn't necessarily your mom but we're just dating and seeing where it goes first." I tell her.

"But you love each other right? You look at her daddy like the princes in all my stories you read me looks at their princesses." She says.

Both Aurora and I look at each other for a moment, both of us turning a little red.

"There's more to it than that." I tell her.

"Well, I love the idea that you guys are dating. Plus, tomorrow at the mother and daughter day will be even more special because you both like each other." She smiles.

She looks over at the playground and see's a few kids running onto the playground.

"You can go play with those kids if you want." I laugh.

She then jumps up and starts running up to them and playing while Aurora and I stay there watching her and have her sit between my legs with her back against my chest as we watch Willow playing.

The next day, Willow and Aurora went to school and had their mother and daughter day together and I was happy to see Willow being able to go with someone who has been more of a mom to her than her real one. She needed that.

Today after finishing a meeting with the pack about new ideas I had for guarding the perimeter to our territory, we all stood out towards the living room and one of the Omega's had brought up Denton and his pack going around mentioning how he plans to attack us when we least expect it and threatens to take Willow and Aurora away. He also mentioned a new threat that happens to be working with him.

Before I could find out who, I could smell Aurora's scent and could hear Willow as they were walking up to the house.

I looked at Jezebel and she nodded her head in agreement as to what to do when they came in.

Once they walk inside, I can tell the look on Aurora's face that she knows something is up.

I mind link everyone to leave and we will meet up tomorrow and discuss more about what the guy was gonna tell me.

"Hey guys!" Jezebel excitedly says as she comes up to Aurora and Willow fast and hugs them to distract real quick.

"Hey." Aurora replies while hugging her back. "When did you get in?"

"Just an hour ago." She says before picking up Willow and hugging her.

"I missed you!" Willow shouts in excitement at her.

"What's going on?" I over hear Aurora ask worried. 

"Well...." Jezebel says while glancing back real quick at me and Colt then back at  Aurora.

"Zane told us that you guys were dating and I was thinking that maybe we could all go out and celebrate the good news." She smiles.

Aurora still had a look on her face of uncertainty.

"What's with everyone here then? Are they going out with us too?" She asked.

"No. We just got done with a meeting." She explains to her.

"Well what about Willow? Who's gonna watch her?" Aurora asks.

"One of the guys said he would." I tell her with a smile and wrap an arm around her waist and pull her close to me and kiss her on the lips. 

"Eww. Daddy!" Willow says while covering her eyes.

Both Aurora and I smile at her.

"Sorry princess." I laugh and then pick her up and give her a kiss on the forehead. "So did you guys have fun today?!"

"A great time! I want her to come every time." She says excited.

That really melted my heart.

"Aww. I'm glad." I tell her.

"Yeah well, can I go out with you guys then so that I can celebrate with you guys?" She asks.

"Aww sweetie. Not tonight. We're going to the adult place. But tomorrow we can do something." I promise her.

"Fine." She pouts.

"Come on girlie, let's go and get some ice cream." Aurora suggests by taking her hand and once they're in the kitchen I look at Colt and Jezebel both looking at me.

"You know you have to tell her about everything soon." Jezebel says lowly.

"I know. But, not tonight. Let's just have a good time." I tell them.

"Fine. But when you do, let me be there." Colt mentions

"Of course." I smile at them and then we both head towards the kitchen before getting ready to go out tonight.
