EPILOGUE: 1 Year Later

AURORA

It's been almost a year now since the fight and we have all healed from it, well, physically. I still am trying to heal from everything that had happened so quickly. From me becoming a werewolf, finding out my own brother was one and then almost being killed by more werewolves and Willow's mother.

Speaking of which. I had felt bad when we had gotten home later that night from the fight about Willow's mother. Sure Willow didn't care for her too much and she was old enough to understand many things in what happened but still, that was her mother in the end.

Zane and mine's relationship has gotten much stronger and everyone, especially him, has helped teach me more about my wolf and I.

I used to think werewolves were not just mythical creatures but also scary of course and not cute or anything like that but now that I am one and have a mate as one, they aren't too scary and since I can still see Zane when I look at his, I must say he's still hot as fuck.

Colt and Jezebel have gotten married a couple months ago and are expecting their first child in eight more months.

Willow and the rest of us have been learning more and more about her type of abilities and her kind ever since the word got out and there happened to be not many but a few that are just like her.

While I was finishing making sides for the barbecue we were having, I walked the last two bowls out and set them down at the long table out back as we all sat down with me and Zane at each end of the table and most of the pack with their mates there as well.

Before grabbing something to eat, Zane stood up and grabbed everybody's attention before looking at me.

"Everyone, I have an announcement to make!" He says as he clears his throat and everybody falls dead silent.

"Shh..." Everyone says to each other.

"I just want to say that even though we had lost many good members almost a year ago, we also gained a lot as well." He begins while looking at me. "I can't begin to express the gratitude and the honor it is to be your Alpha."

"Awww..." A few guys say.

Zane gives them a 'shut the hell up!' Glare before softening his eyes and looking back ay me.

"Aurora. Since the first day I met you I was in love with you. Not just cause of the bond of you being my mate but, the way you were with Willow and how she was with you, I just knew. Despite the many times I try to fight it off, from the fear of you rejecting me and with you being human, we still found a way." He smiles and then begins to walk over towards me and as soon as he gets beside me, he kneels down on one knee and pulls out a box and shows me a beautiful diamond ring with diamonds all around the band.

"I know it's only been a year that we've been together and I know that you've been through so much but, I love you and will never stop loving you even when I take my last breath. You're the amazing mother to my daughter and I want you to be the same for our future children. Aurora? Will you please do me the honor in making me the happiest and luckiest man in the world even more than you already do and marry me?" He asks.

You could hear a pin drop as everyone seemed to have held their breaths even and I'm too busy trying not to let the tears that filled my eyes up fall but here they go as I smile at him.

"Yes." I smile big.

He then takes the ring out and places it onto my finger and quickly stands up and wraps me up in his arms and spins me around a little as he kisses me.

Everyone then begins cheering and clapping at us and as soon as he sets me down, we see Willow beside us.

"Mommy?" She says.

She has never called me that and never has any one of us ever told her she had to. But those words melted my heart and as Zane picked Willow up and kissed her forehead. We started all three hugging each other.

"Congrats guys! Hate to break up 'family hug' but can we eat? Me and and the little one in my belly are staaarving." Jezebel says.

We all laugh and Zane ends up bringing his chair around while Willow sits back at her seat next to Jezebel and talks to her stomach.

"That'll be you one day." I hear Zane whisper in my ear.

I look at him and do one of the many things that drives him crazy and bite my lower lip a little bit.

"Why don't we get started tonight?" I challenge him.

"I'll take you right now if you want. You'll just have to be quiet." He says.

"Never." I wink at him. "And you'll have to wait." I say before giving him a quick kiss on the lips and taking a bite of food.

"You're gonna get it tonight. You're gonna pay for getting me all excited just now." He mind links me.

"Looking forward to it." I reply.

I have had many requests already for a sequel and to be honest, I'm not sure yet.
