AURORA

While sitting there next to him, I suddenly began feeling like wanting to kiss him. I shouldn't feel this way. Then something happened and I was completely taken aback but in a good way.

I felt my head being turned to look at him and then the next thing I know, I feel his lips on mine and his hand touching the side of my face.

This has to be a dream. None of this could be real. Right?

I lost track of everything around us, even where we were at and felt like those girls in the movies. However, instead of objecting, I of course kissed him back.

Then we stopped to catch our breaths.

"I'm sorry. I've wanted to do that for a while." I hear him tell me.

"Really?" I asked confused.

"Yeah. I know I haven't really been treating you that nice but, I wanna try and change that." He begins.

I become at a loss for words in a moment and then he notices I'm not replying and sits back a little and removes his hand from the side of my face, as I feel the cold wind blow away the warmth his hand brought to that spot.

"Sorry." I tell him as soon as I realize he is looking at me weird.

"It's okay. I don't blame you for being weirded out." He says.

"It's not that. It's just, I feel like this is a dream and you didn't really just kiss me." I admit.

I then hear him chuckle before taking hold of my hand.

"I can promise you that it's not a dream." He smiles at me. "And if you will let me, I'd like to take you out on a date." He says sounding nervous which I thought was cute.

"Okay." I smile at him.

He then gives me another kiss on the lips and I rest my head on his shoulder until the end of the ride.

As soon as we get off the ride, we start heading back to clean up and get ready to leave when suddenly Zane stops and has me and Willow along with her best friend Cindy head back to the table while he used the bathroom real quick.

Once everything was cleaned up, I headed to the bathroom while having Colt take Willow and Cindy to the car and waited for Zane.

As soon as I walked out of the bathroom, I looked around and things seemed creepy as most of the parks lights were off, the chill from the cold night was getting worse and I couldn't hear much. So I began to pick up my pace a little and when I got almost towards the exit, I stopped and froze in place as I heard an animal's growl. It reminded me of a lion but, there was no way it could be that.

I tried not to think of what it could be and I don't know what in the hell possessed me to turn around but when I did, I immediately regretted it as I saw a set of yellow golden eyes in the darkness off to the side of the bathroom, staring at me.

While slowly beginning to back up, I then stop as I feel myself hit a wall. Well, at least that's what I thought until I turned around and saw it was Zane.

Relieved, I quickly put my arms around him.

"Are you okay?" He asks.

"Yeah. I just thought I saw..." I began to tell him but as I looked back, I didn't see the eyes anymore and heard rustling in the trees behind the building.

"Saw what?" He asks.

"Nothing. I think I just scared myself from watching too many scary movies in my life." I laugh nervously.

"Oh, well come on. We don't wanna get locked in here." He smiles and takes my hand and we start walking to the car to head back at the house.

I will admit that it's possible that what I saw was just from my imagination. Plus, everything felt better when Zane was there.

After returning back home and putting Willow and her friend to bed, I put everything into the fridge and still for some reason couldn't seem to get those yellow golden eyes out of my head and the uneasy feeling it gave me.

I'm wondering if maybe I should tell Zane what I saw. Maybe he would know of some animals like mountain lions or something that are around here and happened to be there. But I don't know. He just told me he liked me and then asked me out. So I don't want to make him think I'm crazy.

Oh what to do what to do.
