*Matty POV*
"Fuck me,"
I groan as I flushed everything I've had to eat for the past three days down the toilet bowl and wiped the tears from my eyes due to all the puking.
Thomas gently rubs my back as I tried to catch my breath after all the dry heaving, thankful that it's finally over.
"I love you and all, but not like this," Thomas replies and I would have laughed if I wasn't so nauseous. I stood up and Luca hands me a paper towel as he leans against the counter of the sink.
"Do you think it's-" Luca starts and I quickly interrupted.
"Don't you dare say it," I grunt before taking a cup of mouthwash and swishing it to get out the bad taste of acid.
"Well our kids usually do have incredible timing," Thomas' sarcasm shines through and I spit in the sink.
"I thought I told you not to say it!" I whined as I ran my fingers through my hair and sighed. I was perfectly fine, minding my own business and puking by myself when these two caught me.
"Do we even have a pregnancy test anymore?" Luca asked and I pulled out one of the bathroom drawers and dug all the way into the back, finding the magical box where I think I had at least five for emergencies.
"I can't believe this," I groan as I look at the test and pray for it to be negative.
It could be food poisoning right? Or maybe I'm coming down with something.
"It could just be from all the stress Kitten, but it doesn't hurt to double check," Thomas mentions as he wraps his arm around my shoulder and Luca does the same around my waist. Gripping the edge of the sink, I look up into the mirror and see the three of us together, almost like we're one tangled person.
"Sooo, you guys going to get out or what?" I asked and the let go of me.
"Ah, you're right. We'll be outside," Luca comments and both of them kiss my cheek simultaneously before leaving to check on the kids. I hold the pregnancy test in my hands. It's white plastic and LED screen taunting me while I unzip my pants.
I pee on the stupid stick that would tell my fate and placed the cap on it, putting it on the bathroom counter and waiting for the two-minute countdown to be over so I would know.
I scratched my stomach. I'm not really feeling pregnant like I did with my last few babies, so maybe there would be a big ol' not prego there instead.
The timer hits the fifteen-second mark when I hear a loud bang from downstairs and quickly divert my energy to the battle ahead. Rushing out of the bathroom, Taehyung had already taken his position as a sniper in front of the guest room where the kids were and in front of the stairs. A baby monitor by his side so he could watch inside the locked room as he took his shot.
I picked up the two hands guns we owned from my holsters and unlatched the safety while Thomas and Luca picked up their shotguns. The four of us were locked and loaded, ready to defend our house and our children at all cost.
Even if it means one of us not making it out of this alive.
"Ready?" I asked Luca and Thomas who both nodded to me and maintained their positions downstairs while I had the stairs and Tae maintained the top floor.
"For Mika," Luca said back to me and we heard the loud bang once more.
And with a loud sickening crash, the large front window that had bee boarded up was now shattered and broken. It seemed like we had an entire army waiting to defeat us as the first man stepped through the broken board and I held my breath.
"Adrian?" Thomas called out his brothers name but it was almost like his brother couldn't hear him as he raised his gun for my husband's head.
But I took the first shot without hesitation.
And the bullet went straight through his skull, causing him to fall to the ground with a loud thud before his gang ensued.
