45. New Beginnings

*Luca pov*

8 months later...

"I think it's best if we go our separate ways, this clearly isn't working out like we thought it would,"

Thomas says and the way he says it hits me so hard that I have to sit down. I cup my hand to my mouth unable to make a sound as I look at his handsome face and see how serious he is.

So much so that it hurts me even though it shouldn't. I knew it was going to happen.

After all, he had practiced his lines with me about a hundred times over.

"CUT!" The director calls it and I see Thomas' infectious smile spread across every camera screen.

The director gave him a thumbs up and Thomas fist bumped his fellow actress, the two laughing as they did so while I sat at his chair waiting for him. He hoppes off the sound stage and finally meets me with a single kiss upon my lips.

"You came baby? You could have slept in," he pouts and I chuckle as I kiss him once more.

"I would miss this for the world," I reassured him as I snuggled up in my puffy yellow coat. The set was cold on this early Feburary morning in New York City and the sun wasn't even up yet but I was excited to see the start of my sweetheart's new career.

"How was it?" He asked as he wrapped his arms around my waist. I looked up at him with my chin rested on his chest, loving his genuine smile.

"I thought it was absolutely brilliant love," I sighed and he gently ran his fingers across my buzz cut sides and tussling the length on top.

"Mmm you know what else is absolutly brilliant," he sighs and I chuckle at his attempt to copy my accent.

"What?" I ask and he slowly traces my bottom lip with his thumb.

"THAT'S A WRAP!"

The director calls out and Thomas let's me go as his friends congratulate him on a job well done. I shiver at the loss of his warmth and stand up, stretching just a bit as I look at my phone and bit my lip, calling my other sweetheart.

"Mommy look! Lion!" I heard my little Roo call out.

"Hey, how's the movie star scene treating you?" Matthias asked and just hearing his voice warmed my heart.

"It's pretty good my love, not gonna lie. You'd enjoy it. He's done now though and we'll be home before you know it," I laugh as I can hear the little ones oohing and ahhing over the animals at the zoo.

"Nah. You deserve the break ba-, oh shit! No Rumi! Stop trying to pet the tiger! Sorry, call later hon I have to go get Rumi. Aparently He thinks he's part tiger. NO! Get back here!!!"

The phone call ends and I was reminded of the cold with a harsh breeze. Dark hands cup mine and I look up to Thomas' sweet brown eyes looking down on me.

"How's Matty and the little monsters?" Thomas asked as I stood up.

"They're at the zoo, I can't to see all the pictures," I tell him and he smiles, kissing me gently.

"Where's everyone going?" I asked, seeing all the actors leaving to their dressing room. Thomas holds my hand as we walk back to his. Taking my hand and placing it into his pocket.

"They're celebrating the end of the movie, now all we have to do is wait a few months for the premiere," he says and opens the door for me to step foot into his dressing room where people were waiting to undress him.

"Are we going to go with them?" I asked as he has the fake scars removed from his face.

"Nah, I have a better way to celebrate," he says and looks at me as he takes off the armor he wears.

"Don't miss out because of me love. You're the star in the next marvel movie! You've worked so hard, so you should go." I remind him and he rolls his eyes.

"I'll see them at the premiere, but tonight there's only one person I want to see,"
He says and I can't see his face while they're taking off his makeup but I know there was a smirk on across his lips.

"What do you have in mind?" I asked and he stuck out his tongue.

"That's for me to know and you to find out,"
