Thomas POV

"Well looks like someone finally caught the little escape artist,"

Luca chuckles as he sat down at the kitchen table and watched over the three babies eating oatmeal and berries while Jaydean was already off to school.

"Papa nanas?" Rumi asked and Luca raised his brows in shock.

"Boy, are you telling me it only took the promise bananas to get you out of hiding?" Luca asked our little Roo, pinching his cheeks after Matthias put him in his high chair.

"Yup, he heard you had his favorite snack and got all sorts of excited, he even got me out of bed," I told Luca as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders.

"Good, it's nice to see you love, but it's okay to pull away if you need some time," Luca reminds me and I tilted his chin towards me so I could kiss him. His lips tasted like sweet strawberries and I lingered a little longer than I originally meant to, but pulling away was just so hard when I love them so much.

"Papa all done!" I pulled away from Luca and he looked like he was in a subtle daze.

"Uh huh," Luca mumbled as he looked into my eyes with the same hunger Matty had been sporting earlier that morning. I liked my lips and turned to the crowd which was watching us with maximum curiosity.

"All done!" Nakoa repeated, showing his little bowl was now empty.

"What! You're done before everyone else!" I dramatically gasped as I took off his bib and picked him up, wiping the leftover oatmeal off his face with a wipe.

"Well that's because he had a headstart over Rumi for once," Matty adds as he takes the bowl and starts cleaning the chair while I kissed my other little boy's chubby cheeks.

"You're so freaking cute," I cooed as I walked over to the stove and grabbed my own breakfast of French toast which Luca had made earlier for Jayde. Nakoa was my snuggliest baby out of the quads so holding him was like holding a lovable 20lb teddy bear as he wrapped his arms around my neck and rested his head on my shoulder.

"You know Thomas, Luca and I were talking this morning and we were thinking of hiring a nanny," Matty announced and I took a bite of the warm gooeyness of my French toast.

"A nanny? But the three of us seem to be handling our five kids just fine. We only needed a little bit of help when they were baby babies," I told him, not totally against the idea but not for it either.

"Yes but then again it's just the three of us, I mean we have Hasan's mom next door but that's only for emergencies and a few hours at best. Our paternity leave is going to be over in a little over a month and soon we'll have to go back to work at the studio. Luca can't do this all by himself and take care of the farm. He's going to need some help," Matty gently reasoned with me and Luca nodded in agreement while taking Nova and Mika out of their high chairs to let them play.

"I mean don't get me wrong, I've always loved being the stay at home dad, but five is a lot. Especially when they're so little, Rumi is always disappearing, Mika has separation issues from Matthias, Nova's mood is more like the luck of the draw, and Koa needs a lot of love and attention or else he gets really sad. Jaydean is the only self-sufficient one but she needs more one on one attention too," Luca added as I sat back down at the dining room table.

Matty handed me a mug of coffee just the way I like it and I let Koa nibble on a small piece of French toast without syrup. I looked at both of them and I knew they were tired because I was tired. Anytime we spent together revolved around the quads and if it didn't we were sleeping. Maybe another set of professional hands would be a big help around here.

"I see your point and I also think it's a good idea but I don't want just anyone in the house, not with all the paparazzi and crazy people out there. And how are we going to find someone that's okay with three husbands and five children?" I asked them, thinking practically.

"We don't have to, I know of this school in England called Norland College where girls go to college just to become nannies. They're so prestigious that the royal family only hires their nanny from there and so do the elite. I got into contact with them a while back but the waiting list is long. Fortunately, they just got back to me and said they think they found our match," Luca mentions and I take a long sip of coffee.

"It couldn't hurt to try it and see if we like it, I'm not going to argue with you guys," I told them because they both looked like they were holding their breath. Yeah, I wanted my babies to be raised in the most natural way possible, that's why we live on a farm a ways out from the city, but I'm not going to torture my poor Luca with all of our kids by himself.

"Good, she'll be here in two days. Her name is-"

The doorbell ringing grabs all of our attention and Houston begins to growl, I stood up and whistled twice which was the command for him to stand by my side at attention. He continues to growl as I approached the door.

"Dada scawd," Nakoa whispered as he held me tight and he was so quiet that I had forgotten I was still holding him.

"Don't be, Daddy's right here. Nothing will ever hurt you as long as I'm here buddy," I told him, tilting his chin and looking into those beautiful green eyes filled with precious innocence. He pouted a bit before going back to snuggling close to my side as I shifted him up and opened the door.

"Sophia? Adrian?" I looked on my porch and found my brother and sister staring at me with tears in their eyes looking like they had been to hell and back.

"Thomas! You have to help us! There's been a mistake!" Sophia cried out and I stood there unamused.

"What are you talking about?" I asked I felt two hands on my shoulder as Houston continued to growl, putting Adrian on edge.

"The bank took our house and sold it man, we're all homeless now. They said something about it being in the deed to the house that once Mama died they had to sell it. Can you believe that shhh-stuff?" Adrian changed his words when he noticed my toddler on his hip.

"Is that my nephew?" Adrian asked and I laughed.

"Who? This? No, this beautiful little boy isn't your nephew, just like I am not your brother. Which is why I don't understand why you're here," I told him and Houston barked, keeping them back. Adrian tried to put on an awkward smile but I saw straight through it.

"Man, you know, about the funeral and you being gay-"

"Honey, I didn't know you had a brother and sister," I hear Matty say as he grabs Nakoa from me.

"Wow, huh, it's almost like they don't exist," Luca adds and I nodded.

"Hmm, you know about the house, that really sucks and all but I only help out my real family when they're in need. I did my duty and took care of Mama, but I have no obligations to take care of you. Now, this isn't a homeless shelter so you have exactly sixty seconds to get off my property before I call the police," I threaten and Adrian growls, spitting on the porch.

"You're going to regret this, you might try to erase us but we still you're flesh and blood bro," he grunts and I laughed out loud.

"You know, that's really funny, you should take your own advice sometime. Now get the fuck out," I point to both of them without a single feeling of remorse in my heart as I slammed the door in their faces.

My husbands let out a small sigh of relief together and I pull them both into a tight hug before going back to my breakfast and making a phone call.

"Who are you calling?" Luca asked out of curiosity and I smiled.

"I'm about to schedule the installation of a new fence cause apparently we need one," I told him and took another sip of coffee and feeding Rumi his precious bananas like nothing happened.
