Bellamy's POV

I walked into the dropship, despite the fact that I wasn't supposed to be in here. I sat down next to Kennedy, who had been given a hammock. Blood stained her face and I noticed several small white lines on her face. Scars. I also noticed for the first time the thin white line across her neck from Murphy the night Charlotte died. Guilt flooded threw me. I knew Murphy's tactics were to hurt her to get me to let go of Charlotte. Just looking at her hurt me, as every scar on her body was another example of me letting her down. I sighed heavily and rubbed my hands across my face, standing up to go and check on Octavia.

Quarantine had began to rapidly fill up in the past hour and it was failing miserably. I looked to where I left Octavia but she had vanished.

"Hey Clarke!" I shouted, who was tending to Connor in the corner. "Where's Octavia?"

Clarke stood up and walked towards me. "She's not here."

Anger filled me, as well as worry, fear and stress. All part of the joys of being a big brother.

"I sent her to go and see Lincoln. If there's a cure, he has it. I didn't tell you because I knew you wouldn't let her go," Clarke filled me in. I glared at Clarke, who knew full well that Octavia would be in danger. I decided not to make a scene, especially because I was surrounded by dying people, Clarke included. "If anything happens to her, you and me are going to have problems."

I walked down the door of the dropship, going to organise the gunners.

Kennedy's POV

My eyes opened to see Finn carrying me.

"Where we going Spacewalker?" I mumbled, referring to his old nickname. A time that felt like a million lifetimes ago.

He chuckled lightly. "I'm taking you to the basement."

"Why?" I questioned, resting my head on his chest.

"Because, Kennedy, the virus seems to be worse for you. And the basement is where we are putting the most serious cases," Finn answered.

"So, there are other people down there?" I asked and Finn grimaced.

"Just one," he answered, stopping.

"Hey baby."

I instantly knew who it was.

"Finn, I think I'm feeling a lot better. I'm just going to go back upstairs," I tried to speak but I coughed violently as Finn put me down.

"Nice try Ken," he mumbled before swiftly leaving.

I lay down on the floor under the blanket I was wrapped in.

"How are you feeling?" Murphy asked.

I rolled over to look at him, wearing an irritated expression. "Fresh as a fucking daisy." I heard him chuckle slightly and I closed my eyes but I was too annoyed to sleep right now. However, the mere thought of a conversation with Murphy made the skin stand up on the back of my neck so I kept my eyes shut.

"I'm sorry Kennedy. For Charlotte. I know you were close but I was angry and I know that is no excuse," he said.

"You know I will never forgive you right?" I asked him, sitting up slightly.

"I don't know Ken. I think you will, someday. You may even date me," he said, wiggling his eyebrows. I lightly slapped his shoulder, too weak to do it hard for comedic value, and as much as I didn't want to, I laughed. Just a little bit but Murphy noticed.

"See, you're already laughing," he said, smiling at me.

"You know something Murphy? I'm kind of glad you aren't dead. Partly because it meant that I got to kick your ass when you returned but also, I know you're not a bad guy. Deep down, you're not. You're just angry," I said quietly as he focused his eyes on me. "I also want to tell you that, I know about your parents. And what they did to get floated and I don't blame you for being angry. I sure as hell would be. Your mum was wrong about you Murphy."

He smiled and his eyes were slightly glossed over. He didn't speak, but just simply nodded but I knew what it was meant to say. I took Murphy's hand and squeezed it lightly before hearing the door open. Bellamy dropped down, glaring at Murphy, whose tears quickly dried.

"Bellamy, heel!" I spoke weakly and his eyes softened.

"How are you?" he asked, squatting next to me.

"I'm alive," I spoke simply.

"So, Raven is building a bomb to blow up the bridge. Lincoln said that the Grounders use the virus to weaken the opposition before they attack. If we take out the bridge, and several Grounders, we have longer to recover," he spoke, filling us in on the above-ground news.

"So, if they don't use the virus to kill?" I trailed off.

"It means you'll be fine in a couple hours," he smiled. I also began to smile, taking comfort in knowing that I wasn't going to die, from the virus at least. However, my smile quickly faded when I noticed blood trickling from Bellamy's nose.

"I'll get Clarke," Murphy said, rushing to the ladder. I pushed my body up so I was sat up straight and I rested Bellamy against my body. He'd gone completely limp but was still awake as I heard him mumbling rubbish. Clarke then appeared down the ladder, a bottle of water in her hand.

"Drink this," she said, tilting his hand back a little bit to help.

"Clarke, I can't make the shot," he mumbled and I assumed he was referencing the bomb. Clarke nodded, clearly more focused on getting him to drink.

"Get Jasper. He can do it," Bellamy whispered before completely falling asleep, resting on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around him to pull him closer to me.  I was almost proud of how far Bellamy and Jasper had come. Only a couple of weeks ago did Bellamy try to kill Jasper because of his injuries but now was willing to put the fate of all our lives on his shoulders. I turned back to look at Bellamy, whose mouth was open slightly and I noticed a small bit of drool appearing on my shoulder. I chuckled slightly. Man, I was mad about this boy.

A/N

Question: Favourite non-romantic OTP?

Answer: Bellamy and Clarke! Also Jasper and Monty. And from the book, ngl, after this chapter mine might be Murphy and Kennedy. I mean, yes, he did slit her throat but they are fine now (don't worry psychos, that won't last for long).
