Kennedy's POV
It had been a few days and I was still recovering for the virus. Clarke said that for some reason the virus had had a different effect on me. I had been moved from the dropship to my tent but Clarke had ordered bed rest and was enforcing it. I hadn't told anyone about Murphy, mainly out of fear. The camp was in chaos and telling everyone that Murphy was still a homicidal psychopath wouldn't help things. Bellamy and Clarke had been on edge after Jasper blew up the bridge, waiting for a Grounder retaliation, which was definitely coming. It was just a matter of when. No-one had heard from the Ark since Murphy returned and people were starting to panic that air had ran out.
"Hey." I sat up slightly, seeing Bellamy squatting at the door of my tent.
"Hey," I smiled back. He crawled into my tent and did up the zip.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, kissing me lightly on my lips.
"I'm actually feeling a lot better," I smiled, hoping this meant that he was asking me to do something.
"Just checking," he said, brushing my hair behind my ear. "There's a hunting trip, the smokehouse caught fire. It's only going to be me, you and Raven in camp."
"Wait, but I can go," I said, sitting up fully.
"Kennedy-" he started but I kissed him to shut him up.
"Bellamy, I'm going!" I told him, standing up in my sports bra and shorts. I slipped my boots on and turned to Bellamy.
"OK, fine! You can go with Harper and Jasper, and take your knife!" he told me, leaving the tent with me.
"I'll see you later," I told him, running to Harper and Jasper as he winked at me.
"Hey guys, Bellamy told me to come with you?" I told them and Harper smiled. She was actually really nice, unlike many of the irritating girls who had come down on the dropship.

Harper, Jasper and I had killed several pigs, although they had scales on them. I guess it was another animal mutation like the two headed deer. We were carrying them back to camp and Jasper had gone ahead, leaving me and Harper behind.
"Hey Kennedy, can I ask you something?" she turned to me.
"Sure," I smiled.
"Do you think Jasper likes me?" she asked. I looked at her confused. Honestly, I knew he liked Octavia and not Harper but I couldn't say that.
"Honestly Harper, I don't know about Jasper, but I think that Monty has a bit of a thing for you," I told her. I remember Monty's anger when he told me about Jasper calling Harper low-hanging fruit. To be fair, that comment annoyed me. Jasper had become so entitled since the meeting at the bridge.
"Monty? Really?" she said, sounding surprised.
"Yeah, and he's a lot lower maintenance than the Prince over there," I replied, gesturing to Jasper and she snorted, causing me to laugh.
"Guys, come on, we are almost back!" Jasper shouted up ahead, causing me and Harper to keep laughing. I liked Harper and she was probably the first person who hadn't commented on my age, which I appreciated.
When we finally reached camp, we quickly realised we were the first back.
"Let's put the pigs down over there," Harper said, putting them in the newly built smokehouse.
"I'm going to go and find Bellamy," I said, putting the pig I'd been carrying down and smiling goodbye at Jasper and Harper. I decided to check the dropship first but there was no sign of Bellamy or Raven. I decided I'd go and check Bellamy's tent, as he may be having a nap. I reached Bellamy's tent and opened the door to see Raven on top of Bellamy. I immediately realised what was happening and my eyes widened. Raven rolled off of Bellamy and covered herself with his blanket.
"Sorry, uh, I'll just-" I stuttered and used my thumb to gesture backwards, awkwardly stumbling out of the tent.
"Kennedy!" I turned to see Bellamy in his underwear and shoes, pulling a top over his head. I just shook my head at him. "Kennedy, I'm sorry."
"No Bellamy, you didn't do anything wrong," I said quietly, trying my hardest not to cry.
"But Kennedy, I-" he started but I cut him off.
"It was you Bellamy," I said and he looked confused as the first tear fell from my eyes. "It's always been you for me. But it's not me for you. I don't know why I didn't just quit before. You were sleeping with Roma, Bree, several other girls and now Raven. Well I'm not joining them. Sorry."
"Kennedy!" he shouted.
"Just stay the fuck away from me!" I shouted back.
I then turned away and walked off to my tent, tears now pouring from my eyes. I knew I was overreacting, we weren't official, but I felt so hurt. Raven was better than me in every way, better looking, smarter and clearly Bellamy preferred her. I reached my tent and dove in, clambering for my bed as I sobbed into my pillow.
Bellamy's POV
I watched Kennedy walk away from me, knowing that I'd let her down, worse than usual. Raven then climbed out of the tent, fully clothed now and looked between me and Kennedy.
"What's just happened?" she asked me, seeming confused.
"I've just hurt the one truly good person in my life," I said sadly, watching her climb into her tent and her sobs filled the camp. Why do I always mess things up?
A/N
Sorry this chapter is so short! I feel so bad for Kennedy, fuck you Bellamy and Raven. Sorry, just for this chapter. Also, go back and look at the GIF and imagine Bellamy watching Kennedy walk away with that face. It kills me!
