Donna, Erica, Jessica, Jackie, Courtney, Allison, Audrey, my mom, and Hannah were all in Chicago and we were looking at dresses. They all had their dresses and they liked them.
I was trying on dress after dress and finally, the perfect one..
The season began and before I knew it, it was January 17th... We had moved into our dream house two months ago.
Patrick was at Tazer's with all the boys and all the girls with me at the house.
I woke up at 8am to start the busy day.
Patrick: Good morning my beautiful girl. I love you so much and I can't wait to call you my wife tonight. I am the luckiest man in the world.
I started to cry and I responded.
Me: I love you too and I can't wait to be your wife.
We did breakfast, hair, make-up, and pictures.
We drove to the location of the wedding. It was in a beautiful lodge place with huge windows that overlooked all the snow.
Everyone started to get ready and I left... I drove to the United Center and I put Patrick's jersey on. I still had my ring on and I looked at it while standing on the bench.
Suddenly, Patrick appeared...
"Shit!" He said covering his eyes
It's bad luck for us to see each other before the wedding.
"Come here.." I said
He followed my voice and I had my eyes closed too..
I kissed him and he kissed me. We sat on the bench, back to back.
"What are you doing here?" He asked
"Making sure it's all real... The UC is where all my dreams came true.." I said
"What dreams?" He asked
"Playing in the NHL, scoring my first goal in the NHL, winning the Stanley Cup, getting engaged.."
"Is getting married a dream of yours?" He asked
"Yes, especially to you.." I said
Patrick called someone and told them to move the wedding to the UC on the ice...
He called someone else and had them get the rink ready.
The wedding party arrived with everything and I couldn't believe it..
Patrick and I went our separate ways. The girls had the Hawks locker room and the boys had the guest one.
They put stuff over the ice and moved all the chairs and lights to the UC.
I was in my wedding dress and lots of pictures were being taken.. It was almost time to walk down. We were all at the zamboni doors.

"I'm so scared.." I said to my dad
"About what? You are marrying the man you love.. I love you and you will always be my little girl."
We walked down the aisle and Patrick had tears in his eyes. My dad kissed my cheek and gave me a hug and he also shook Patrick's hand and hugged him too.
"You look incredible.." Patrick said to me
The Stanley cup was right next to the minister.
The ceremony started and it soon came time to do our vows.
Patrick started, "Ashley, I never thought that I was capable of loving someone so much and getting married, but then I met you. You changed my whole life. Suddenly, everything was about you and making sure that I was being the best boyfriend I could be to you. You are my dream girl and I can't believe that I get to spend the rest of my life with you as my best friend, sorry Tazer. You have the biggest heart ever and you are so beautiful my Ashley Ella and I love you so much."
I was crying and I looked into his beautiful blue eyes. "Patrick, from the minute I looked into your perfect blue eyes in LA, I knew that you were the guy I wanted to be with. You never fail to amaze me with how sweet you are to me, my family, your family, and our teammates. This still all feels like a dream to me and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life living our dream together. I love you my Patrick Timothy Kane."
Blah. Blah. Blah. Blah.
"I now pronounce you husband and wife. Patrick, you may kiss your bride."
Patrick kissed me and suddenly our goal song "Chelsea Dagger" started to play. The team all just laughed.
Patrick broke our kiss and he got down on one knee and did his famous heartbreaker celly, and he picked me up bridal style and said, "You're the best goal that I've ever scored."
Everyone "Awww'd" and he put me down.
We walked down the aisle holding hands with the Stanley Cup above our heads.
Next was the reception that was up in one of the banquet rooms. We took lots of pictures when they uncovered the ice, so many!
"Holy shit, we just got married.." I said to Patrick
"Yes we did, Ashley Ella Kane." he said kissing me
