Today was the day that my sister was flying back home. She stayed an extra four days with me. I hated when my sister left, we had always been super close growing up.
The next morning I also left to go on a road trip the east coast. We played, Boston, New Jersey, and the Capitals.
I wasn't the biggest fan of flying, but I also loved it.
Patrick sat across from me and he said, "Are you ready for the game tomorrow?"
Yeah, why?" I asked
"Because I have been thinking about a new little play for our line. I need to run it by Q, but do you think..." Patrick continued to explain the plan to me and Sharpie
We talked to Q about it and he said he was happy to see us working together and he would love to see us make it happen.
I opened up an email from Bauer and they wanted me to represent Vapor with Patrick Kane. There was a photo shoot coming up after the road trip. They were offering me eighty grand, so I obviously said it would be an honor.
We lost two our of our three games on the road and the team wasn't happy as we didn't play our hardest. I was at the United Center in all my gear taking pictures with all the Bauer reps. Patrick was also there and they had us do a lot poses together.
After four hours of taking pictures we were finally done.
Patrick and I were getting undressed and I said, "That was exhausting.."
"Tell me about it..." He said walking to the showers
I just out my workout clothes on to go do my workout for the day.
Shaw was still in there and he stuck around and spotted me.
"I see you aren't trying to take my spot on the team anymore?"
I laughed as he was talking about when I punched Patrick and I said, "No, I don't think that's the right spot for me."
He said, "Too bad, it's pretty badass."
We talked until I finished the workout and then Shaw went to shower and I did the cool down and stretching.
I went and took a shower and I drove home and spent the next two hours talking to my little siblings. I missed my family so much.
