chapter forty-four

Ashley's POV:

A few days passed and Jess was in labor and she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. One baby out, four to go...

Donna was in love with her new granddaughter and who could blame her. They naked her Olivia Rose.

Allison's POV:

Tazer had bought a house by my sister and he said that we were moving in. It was a huge house.

I love Jonathan, but I hate being so dependent on him. If he decides he doesn't want this life anymore, I'll have nothing.

Jess had her baby and she was beautiful. Time was flying and soon we would all have our babies here.

I was so nervous about this baby. I think it's because of Jonathan. I was nervous for my first child, but this was different. I knew what to expect, but Jonathan didn't.

Ashley's POV:

Time was passing and we went back to Chicago. Erica was approaching her due date and so was I.

I sat on the couch and Patrick came and sat next to me.

"Hey.." He said quietly

"Hey.." I whispered back

"I have a really big secret and I promised that I wouldn't tell anyone... But my wife doesn't count, right?"

"Right.." I said back in a question form

"Plus, I need your advice..." He said

He handed me a box... I opened it and on the inside was a beautiful diamond ring.

"You are proposing to someone else already?" I asked joking

"No, but Tazer is..." He said

I dropped the box and looked at him, "Shut up!" I said seriously in shock

"I'm serious.. He bought it after Buffalo.. He wants to prose soon.. Do you think she'll say yes?"

"I don't know... They've only been together as a couple for about seven months... Their hook up doesn't count.. She's my sister and she just finalized her divorce..."

"He wants to show her that he wants her and the kids forever, not temporary. He wants a life with her.."

"She'll say yes... But she will call me right after and make sure she made the right decision for her kids.. He needs to wait until after the baby is born. She never wants to be pregnant and get proposed to.."

"Noted.." Patrick said

I looked at the ring and I was in shock. It was beautiful and Jonathan was everything my sister and my nieces deserved.

"How's our little guy?" Patrick asked putting his hand in my stomach

"He's good, he is moving around like crazy.. He needs to come out.."

"He will, soon."

"How's Erica?"

"Anxious. She wants her baby out.."

"Maybe they will be born on the same day.." I said

Patrick kissed my head and he said, "I can't wait to meet our son.."

Patrick put the ring away and Lauren was waking up from her nap. He brought her out and he was playing with her while I made dinner.

"Baby!" Lauren said touching my stomach

"Yeah, that's your little baby brother." I said

"My baby!" She said smiling

I hugged her and she went back to Patrick to keep playing with whatever toys they had out.

We ate and Patrick went to workout at the UC with Tazer. Allison and I met at a park to walk. I pushed Lauren in her stroller and she had her girls in a double stroller.

"Are you sure you should be walking? Can't your mini Patrick come at any time?"

"I'm fine and yeah, the sinner the better.."

"The fam is coming into town next week.." Allison said

"Yay, we'll have them all wanting to be in my delivery room.."

Allison laughed knowing how they all want to be there, but we kick them out.

"Are you going to have Jonathan in there?" I asked

"Yeah, if he wants to be..." She said nervously

"He wants to be, it's all new to him."

"I know and it's freaking me out." Allison said

"It will be okay, he loves you and your girls so much..."

"I know and it scares me... I feel more loved my Jonathan than I ever did from Anthony..."

"Anthony wasn't your soulmate, Jonathan is.."

"Stop it!" She said laughing and turning red

"Mommy, I love Jonathan..." Audrey said

Allison stopped and we sat on a bench..

"You do?" She asked

"Yeah, he's good daddy!"

Allison's heart melted... I could see it in her face.

"Dada!" Lily said

"Well, I love Jonathan too..." Allison told her girls

She whispered to me, "My girls are attached... What if he breaks my heart?"

"He won't... Trust me..." I said hugging my scared sister

We went home and I told Patrick all about it and he said that Tazer was going to propose when the moment was right.

We put Lauren to bed and I facetimed my brother and he was asking a bunch of questions about the baby.

He was obsessed with his unborn nephew and it was adorable.

I couldn't wait for my family to he here. I couldn't wait to meet our son. I couldn't wait until I could sleep comfortably.

"Can you get me another pillow?" I asked Patrick

"You already have like six.."

I gave him a look and he found me another body pillow...

He tried to hold my hand, but I pulled it away as I was sweating... This pregnancy was coming to an end. The end was also the hardest and the most uncomfortable...
